Stance of the Spirited Crane is a new ability for Mistweaver Monks, which replaces Stance of the Fierce Tiger.
Holy shit so this actually is a real thing?
Here's hoping they animate it, though I'm doubtful they will, since that sounds like more trouble than it's worth. They might actually have already animated it in the past, though; the idle animation of Pandaren, at the very least:

Not sure I'm liking what's being said about discpriesting. Getting Holy Nova back is not something I ever needed either.

That Paladin armour would be far cooler without the jutting shoulder crystals. Blizzard artists must panic and go "Shit, this isn't fantasy enough! More spikes/crystals!" - without those, it would be one of my fav sets.

I have to agree with Vaell. Those crystals are just "What?"

Think Draenei Exarch. That seems to be the look the set is going for.

It's clearly a draenei set, and an awesome one at that.

It would be far cooler without the extra crystals. They make it look clunky. You could make it look like it's of Draenai origin without those. They do it with a lot of sets - half the challenge mode sets are ugly because of extra clunky attributes.

I love the set, but yes, the jagged chunks of crystal just sticking out of the sides are pointless and rather dumb-looking. But at least it looks like a Draenei set, unlike that new plate thing we see on the NPCs, and it's only a small part of the whole set.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but:
Bronze: The “Undaunted” title for achieving a full set of Bronze medals will become account-wide.
Silver: The Pandaren Phoenix mounts awarded for a full set of Silver medals will become account-wide. If any character on an account has earned a full set of Silver medals, all four variants of the Pandaren Phoenix (Crimson, Ashen, Violet, and Emerald) will become available to all characters account-wide.

I wonder what went through the Horde builders' heads when they designed this mailbox.
"Hum. There's something lacking about our original mailboxes. I know! They're not 'orcy' enough. We need to give them spikes and bones, so that our mailboxes may defend themselves in times of battle!"
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Yet in the end of all that, envelopes still look like regular envelopes. That will surely be the Horde administration's next step: Spiked paper!

And you thought paper-cuts were a problem before.

What if I told you, I haven't had a single paper cut for nine years? And I still go to school flipping through page after page each day.
I even tried to give myself a paper cut once and failed miserably..
On the other hand, I am looking forwards to seeing a tauren or ogre using an Orc mailbox as a weapon.

These new mailboxes can be garrisoned with Peons during times of trouble. Once inside, Peons will hurl spears at enemy units to protect their lands.

Re: Warlords of Draenor - General Discussion
Enjoy:
- Spoiler:
- There have been some big changes to the starting experiences shown off at Blizzcon. This is one of the reasons that beta has not yet started.
There was too much CC in Mists of Pandaria PvP, which upset a lot of players. It is still an important and necessary part of PvP though!
Diminishing Return categories were also too complicated, so the number of categories was reduced for Warlords of Draenor. Even with the changes, many of the popular arena comps are still viable.
PvP gear will have a second item level that activates when you are doing PvP. This allows the PvP gear to be useful in other parts of the game while having it remain the best gear for PvP.
Ashran will be somewhat like a Timeless Isle for PvP. Players can go there, explore the island, kill some players and creatures, and earn some things that will benefit them in PvP.
Ashran will have a Horde and Alliance fortress on opposite ends of the island, with staging areas behind each base. This area will have vendors, let you duel, and be a place for PvP players to hang out. Each faction's base is fully manned with NPCs that are fighting a battle. The main battle takes place in the center, slowly pushing towards the other faction's fortress. There are objectives on the outer edges of the island. It shouldn't feel too much like a battleground, more like unstructured PvP with some points of interest. Ashran won't be ready for the initial builds.
There will be an alpha realm that is only for PvP, with premade level 100 characters only and most of the world disabled. This will allow a longer period of feedback on PvP changes than previous betas have had.
Raid testing will also start taking place earlier, as tech is in place to let you zone in to Blackrock Foundry at level 92 and temporarily be increased to level 100 for raid testing.
Skirmishes will have a random reward at the end, honor, battleground gear, or maybe even conquest gear. You can solo queue and will be matched with another player of the appropriate role.
Random battlegrounds are popular because they are a solo queue experience, so skirmishes will hopefully allow a lot of players who have never done arenas before to start doing them.
The team is toning down visuals from other players while leaving your own visuals intact.

Blizzard is terrified of giving players choices; this was their rationale for a lot of the changes I hated about MoP, and I increasingly dislike how WoD seems to follow that same ideology.
"Players might have experiences that don't adhere to our ideal game experience. Clearly this is because they are dumb and not because free will and exploration are core engagements in an RPG. Let's fix that! Less options to make the right way to play the game the only way to play the game!"
Slightly off-topic from what you were talking about, I know, but the tweets gave me that same annoying itch. To be on-topic, I agree with you, it would have been nice for more variety in Garrisons in general.

Man, you reall, really don't like orcs, do you? It's a mailbox! They made it fit in with the horde/orc aesthetic!Kozgugore Feraleye wrote:I wonder what went through the Horde builders' heads when they designed this mailbox.

Shame 'bout garrisons, but I'm reluctant about using them for role-playing anyway because of their personal nature. All garrisons being located at the same place... Doesn't help. Perhaps we, the (Alliance) players aiming to role-play in Draenor, should aim to all recognize the same garrison in the same location, give it a name, and use it as a common base. Sort of like [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
EDIT: That changing item level stuff sounds a bit... Overly complex, doesn't it?

Re: Warlords of Draenor - General Discussion
The problem that we might encounter is that different players have the garrisons in different 'phases' of construction, so one day the "city" may be X big, another Y big, depending on which players Garrison is used for the location. Building locations might also change, but "Magic!" is always a good explanation.
It is a decent option, though should there be an awesome City found in Draenor that suits roleplaying needs perfectly, i can see such have potential to be used above Garrisons, due of the construction/phasing issues. We will see how it turns out, and which one is a more preferred option.
