Yeah, it seemed pleasant enough. Like Nayan said, a 'thank you' sort of thread, so that people can refer to specific things, might be a better way to do this -- since then it's not about 'who's the best' but just a way to add a few nice comments. I imagine that's partially what Ben was going for anyway.
