Out of blunt curiosity, are these sort of notices not supposed to go onto your calendar is it concerns nobody but your own guild?

Edit: If you create event and not guild event + mass invite everybody in your guild, it will flash on the calendar as a question mark so people are more likely to notice something is going on.

(( Vangrel, I think they posted it here to give everyone in the community (not just the Disciples) know that the DoL will be going on a trip, and that something might happen in Westfall. Some people like to keep updated on what's happening with who on the server, you know... ))

(( And if it was posted on the notice board, anyone passing through may have seen it. People could sneak along for the trip, approach the Disciples about it or just plan a crazy party at the Garrison whilst they're gone!))

(Indeed, the details haven't been posted here for obvious reasons but I know a few people that come to the Disciples often and this will show them where we are if needed.)

Neat - It just came across as more of a guild thing seeing as not many people go into the City Hall to view the posters that the Disciples might put up. Though a nice way of tracking the Disciples if they are somebodies enemy who wants to drop some bodies next to them!
