The Wild Tempest Tidecaller Karkoom has called upon the elements of the earth and water below to create a well to provide a steady supply of fresh water for the forward command post.
Forward Command now has a well for fresh water. The well is located directly under the central watch tower. For now it is a crude hole in the earth, with water down below. Masonry and a pulley system with buckets have yet to be made.

Forward Command now has a well for fresh water. The well is located directly under the central watch tower. For now it is a crude hole in the earth, with water down below. Masonry and a pulley system with buckets have yet to be made. Arcane sentry wards have also been placed around the central tower to protect it from enemy attack, and additionally around the well in order to keep the water pure.
The Alliance units conducted training in the form of war games, with the hope of ensuring that the next battle does not go as sour as the last one.
Lastly, Disciple scouts discovered the lost convoy. It is believed to have been hit by Horde soldiers, and its supplies of ore and gas, as well as its wheels, were stolen. There is also concern that some of the convoy's staff may have been captured. If so, efforts must be taken to locate and rescue them.
The above has been added in addition to the morning updates on the book.

Drustai wrote:Sorayah wrote:<The following letter arrives to Alliance Military Command in the Northern Barrens, presumably ending up in Areyah's mailbox.>
- Spoiler:
Honored commanders of the mighty Alliance,
It is with great sadness that I must inform you that a certain Alliance military group under contract with the Mudsprocket Committee of Infrastructure and Safety, henceforth known as the MCIS, has recently chosen to break their contract with us and compensation is demanded.
Without further ado, here is my summary of the events:
It was another evening on the roads outside Mudsprocket. I, alongside my two ogre guards, were watching over the road for threats coming from the marshes and for travellers to keep safe. Indeed, a colorful, armed group consisting of some draenei, worgen, humans and a gnome wearing Alliance tabards soon approached us on the road from the north. Considering the regretful destruction of Theramore and the ongoing campaign in the Barrens, I must presume that is the direction they have come from and thus you would be in charge of them.
But I digress. As per standard MCIS policies, I requested a road toll from them in exchange of safe passage. After some negotiations with their leader Alexia Thorne regarding the exact toll required of them, we settled on a contract that would require payment of ten silver per soldier, a mandate for the group to completely clear the quillboar fortress known as Razorfen from its inhabitants and permit us to scavenge anything of value in the location. They informed me Razorfen was their goal anyway, claiming the mysterious dark forces recently fallen upon the area originated there. The payment was given to me, and the Alliance army was most professional in that regard. Of that, I have no complaint. However, the group failed to clear Razorfen of the quillboar. It appears they defeated the source of the darkness indeed, but a large number of quillboar remain, thus preventing our scavenging efforts. In addition, the military group has left the area and does not show any intent of fulfilling their obligations. Neither have they returned to discuss the contract with us further.
This is an outrage indeed. I had always believed the Alliance military to hold a honorable code of conduct, the kind a honest goblin could trust to fulfill their contracts. Truly, my faith in the Alliance has been deeply shaken by this deplorable Alexia Thorne and her soldiers. But it is in our best interests not to allow this to escalate into a diplomatic crisis, thus I offer two possibilities for settling the matter. You may either provide us a sum of 100 (one hundred) gold, delivered to the MCIS office in Mudsprocket, or commit the full military might of the Alliance to lay waste to the remaining quillboar, thus permitting us to initiate our scavenging operations. In both cases, a written assurance that the Alliance can be trusted to honor their contracts in the future is required alongside a stern admonition to Alexia Thorne.
I look forward to settling this matter in a peaceful manner.
Yours sincerely,
Chairman Zipnegg Bulletspring
Mudsprocket Committee of Infrastructure and Safety
<Attached you will find a copy of the original contract. It requires a fee of 10 silver per person for passage, and has a clause demanding the military group to clear Razorfen of all threats and leave all of the quillboars' belongings there for the goblins to scavenge. Also, in small writing it has a clause that anything the military group should leave in Razorfen for whatever reason rightfully belongs to the goblins, as do all their belongings should they fall in the attempt. It is signed by an Alexia Thorne.>

To Zipnegg Bulletspring, Chairman of the Mudsprocket Commission. From RADM Areyah Conover, Stormwind Minister of Defense.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Northwatch Hold, Southern Barrens
FRIDAY, July 26th. [30]
Most thrifty Chairman Bulletspring,
The Alliance has no one named Alexia Thorne operating under our banner. Indeed, miss Thorne is at odds with the Alliance, and currently wanted for treason. Additionally, I did not order any Alliance troops to pass through Dustwallow Marsh, so I'm afraid that any troops you saw may have been wearing stolen tabards to fool you. Therefore, I cannot help you. I would recommend that you take up your claim against miss Thorne herself for any breaches of contract.
May you find profit,
Rear Admiral Areyah Conover
Stormwind Minister of Defense
Chairlady of the Council of Stormwind
How do you write a lie, when you're too honorable to lie? With [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], of course. Bureaucracy 101.
Some days later, a followup mail emerges, this one directly addressed to Areyah.
Minister, Rear Admiral and Chairlady Conover,
I have received your mail in response to my inquiry about Alexia Thorne's breach of contract, and, having reviewed my available options, it appears the only choice of action I have left to take is to indeed seek this miss Thorne out and bring her and her compatriots to goblin justice. One does hope she is still close by, in which case she no doubt will soon be in our custody. The Mudsprocket Debt Collectors' Bureau shall put its finest to the task at once.
And I must ask, if miss Thorne is wanted by the Alliance, might there be a potential bounty for the return of her and her compatriots to Stormwind once our justice has been served?
With the best of regards,
Chairman Zipnegg Bulletspring

Recruit Siaer Stormcloud of the 157th Company - Wild Tempest was assigned this evening 30/07 to place Druidic Wards all around the encampment of the Forward Command by order of Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle.
Wards are in effect a barrier to prevent all use of Fel energies and magics used within the encampement due to recent Warlock interference, the warding shield extends over the camp including tents, and the infirmary acting as in an invisible veil.

Ma'am,
In accordance to your earlier order given at Honor's Stand and not countermanded afterwards I have been placing Illusion Disrupting wards at each camp, including Forward Command. While Honor's Stand had to be warded from two sides, Forward Command needs to be encircled and I cannot maintain such a number of wards without the use of Fel magic. During the morning maintenance I have discovered that additional protection has been placed by our men that prevents me from fully using my magic.
I cannot continue the work on my Illusion Disruptors unless the restrictions on Fel are lifted or I am given assistants. The wards will become inoperable unless maintained before midnight the 30th.

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
Those looking to investigate the convoy attack, get in touch with me or Grim.
DoL, you guys should write up something for your initiate event, as I don't know what happened.
((I'm not a DoL official or nothing, but since no one has yet replied to this and I was one of the Initiates at the event.))
Thursday 25th of July (Unofficially agreed upon)
Some Disciples of Light Initiates, still lacking their right to wear the Disciples guild tabard, would've been spotted with High Chaplain Beladon and Chaplain General Valestrion leaving the Infirmary where the disciples are often most present. They would of been seen on the outskirts of the camp to the North of the Infirmary and North-West of the middle of the camp. Any passers by in the early evening would've seen three initiates completing a written test under supervision of Beladon and Valestrion.
In the later evening they would of stumbled upon a full meeting in the same place of all of the Disciples of the Light at the camp, as well as a rank progression ceremony whereby, Brother Ricmond, Sister Anne and Brother Caillen advanced in rank and took a new set of vowels all other members were also requested to take.
Brother Ricmond, progressed onto the path of an Adept Scout. Sister Anne progressed onto the path of an Adept Field Medic. Brother Caillen progressed onto the path of a Squire. During the ceremony they were awarded their silk embroidered cloth tabards and ceased to be initiates having proven themselves to their order in their deeds and also the intellect required to represent their order.
Later in the evening a mixture of Disciple and Blazing Shield officers could be seen in the middle of the infirmary engaging in a game of poker, some serious coin passed hands and left some momentarily bitterness about the camp. Chaplain Wulfgnar could be seen by onlookers slamming his fist on the table in frustration, clearly the poker went badly for him.

South Barrens, Forward Command
Racist utterances toward the Kaldorei (Night Elfs) in the periphery corners of the camp begin to occur. Soon as some of the Dwarves get wind of the Humans complaints about the Kaldorei customs and "useless wisps", they join in and spark the situation up with much more emotive racist slurs.
Some Kaldorei around the camp begin to get evil glares and get treated abruptly and harshly by some of the lower echelons in the camp, including the peasant work force and a lot of the privates in the army.
Peasant Workman: Those wisps are not producing enough lumber for the repairs and rebuilding of Forward Command and the siege equipment... How in the bloody Light will we be ready to lay a siege!?
Lieutenant: Look that is all the resources we have, you will just have to make do. I'm sorry, this is war tough times for everyone...
Peasant Workman: Look, there is a jungle just over there *The burley sweating workman raises his strained tired arm in the direction of the "overgrowth"*. All the raptors got gutted last night, me and my boys can head over and chop some lumber quicker than those bloody wisps can extract it.
Lieutenant: I don't make the rules, thats just what we were told was meant to happen, let the wisps do what they do and make do.
Peasant Workman: Why the fel, is that even a bloody rule - That be stupid that be.
Lieutenant: Look... *low* between me and you I have no idea why its a bloody rule... Well actually I do, something to do with those bloody Kaldorei always interfering with their nature malarky. Star children... *he snorts*.
Peasant Workman: Night Elf creeps, always making life difficult snobby little...
*The Lieutenant raises his hand to quiet the Peasant Workman mid-sentence*
Lieutenant: *low* If you decided to sneak off in the middle of night to chop some of those trees down... Let's just say the guards cannot be blamed and therefore, if you decided to do that the Kaldorei will be none the wiser, either... Catch my drift?
*loud for others to hear nearby* We would not want to upset the Kaldorei and disturb the "balance", they are our esteemed allies. *He smirks with sarcasm, only the Peasant Workman can make out, he then follows this up with a cheeky private wink*
Peasant Workman: *Looks red-faced with anger regarding the situation. However, he manages to crack a brief little smirk in response to the Lieutenants private words* Off I go, then!

Senior officers at the camp deny any rumors of an "only wisps rule", commenting that local forces are permitted to conduct logging operations on a limited basis. They cite that the main reason there is only little Overgrowth logging going on in is due to natural threats and the danger that corrupt wood could cause to the camp's equipment.
The officers will attempt to squash any signs of discrimination against elves that they see, though it is said that high commanders like Admiral Conover and Marshal Steelfist have also made disparaging remarks about the elves on multiple occasions.

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
(Saturday-Tuesday, July 27th-30th)
The camp has spent the last several days repelling multiple kor'kron assaults and preparing for the coming battle for Fort Triumph. Most prominent has been the continued placement of wards. One such recent ward to have been put in effect was a barrier to prevent all use of Fel energies and magics used within the encampment due to recent Warlock interference. The warding shield extends over the camp including tents and the infirmary, acting as in an invisible veil.
On Saturday, Wild Tempest conducted a promotion ceremony, seeing several members appointed higher grades. Later that night, Commander Thilliath and the Blazing Shields offered blacksmithing services for the camp, repairing arms and armor.
On Monday, the beginning phase of the attack on Fort Triumph was put into motion. Gyrocopter bombers with gryphon escorts flew off from Northwatch Hold to Fort Triumph, where they dropped bombs on kor'kron defensive emplacements. Though initial plans were to hit Triumph, Desolation Hold, and Bael Modan, Horde air resistance downed multiple fliers and necessitated calling off the attacks on the other two locations. The attack however was a success, however, and most Horde artillery has been destroyed. Since this event, dwarven steamtanks have begun bombarding the fort from afar as they are now mostly safe from enemy artillery.
Throughout the weekend there has been several contacts with the rogue Horde group, the Blood Wolves. They attacked an Alliance convoy in the Overgrowth and captured two prisoners. Scouts from the Disciples of Light managed to locate the destroyed caravan and relay this information back to High Command. Later, the Blood Wolves sent a diplomat to discuss trading the prisoners for the orc the Alliance captured at Northwatch two weeks earlier. Though the negotiations were somewhat hostile, a mutual exchange was arranged for the coming days.
Since then, however, the Blood Wolves have managed to take several more Alliance troops prisoner. After the air raid on Fort Triumph, several pilots crashed in Dustwallow Marsh. A search-and-rescue team composed of members of Wild Tempest, 1st Regiment, and Blazing Shields made initial contact with the Blood Wolves while trying to find the downed pilots, but discovered that they had been captured by the Blood Wolves, who have demanded a ransom for their return.
On Tuesday, the Freelancers lead an excursion into the Overgrowth, where they encountered kor'kron-altered raptors.
Additionally, there has been reports that anti-night-elf discrimination has been increasing amongst the lower ranks.
That's all I can remember. If anyone else has anything please let me know, as I can't recall everything that happened over the last few days.
Freelancers, Siegmund told me you guys would write up something longer for the Tuesday event, so I'll update it with more info once you do.

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
(Wednesday, July 31st)
The Alliance took the fight to Fort Triumph, beginning the day with a concentrated artillery barrage from dwarven steamtanks before sending in troops to secure the fort. Though the kor'kron managed to repel one wave, the Alliance were successful in routing them and have reclaimed Triumph.
The Alliance has therefore relocated to Fort Triumph, though this is only temporary. A force will soon be sent to take Bael Modan from the few kor'kron left defending it, before the Alliance moves north again, to Northwatch Hold. From there, the bulk of the army will be rotated back to Stormwind for some rest and recuperation before the Siege of Orgrimmar, though some will remain behind to assist with the harassment of kor'kron operations in Northern Barrens.
Map Updates:
- Alliance claims Fort Triumph.
- Dwarven steamtanks and gryphons follow the main army to Triumph. Wild Tempest planes remain in Northwatch Hold for maintenance after the air raid.
- Rebellion forces under Thunderbluff claim Desolation Hold, begin efforts to secure Frazzlecraz Motherload.

(Tuesday, July 30th)
As Alliance forces were still preparing for the battle to come Kor'kron-altered raptors went on to engage those stationed at Forward Command. Some Alliance went to meet the main charge head on at the edge of The Overgrowth. Some of these raptors were even equiped with bombs and acted as sappers seriously injuring a large number of people. The last trick up the Kro'kron sleeve was a even more mutated raptor monstrosity which even when defeated detonated due to the unstable magic used on it. Thankfully to the bravery of soldiers and the determination of medics, surgeons, magical healers and alike back at Forward command the threat was averted. The stench of dark magic and raptor insides still lingers in the overgrowth. Yet the area of origin the Kor'kron-altered raptors is still unknown

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
(Thursday, August 1st)
Jean-Pierre d'Armagnac and the Disciples of Light host a basic first aid tutoring session to provide the soldiers with training on the basics of tending to the wounds of their fellow men. Another raid by kor'kron hits Triumph shortly after, but is repelled.
During the raid, Admiral Conover, Monrena Scaletail, and Damien Kraldar ride out to meet with the Blood Wolves to conduct a prisoner exchange. They deliver the orc, Gruunak, back to them in exchange for two soldiers that had been captured from the missing convoy. In addition, ransoms were paid for the three captured Wild Tempest pilots--Tachal, Zibble, and Nimble.
(Friday, August 2nd)
Word is reaching Fort Triumph that the kor'kron forces at Bael Modan have abandoned the fortress. While many have fled into Dustwallow to wait out the war, some moving to Mudsprocket and others seeking to join the Blood Wolves, a few have surrendered to the Alliance. The fortress now stands empty, though the kor'kron may have left some things behind...
Due to being rather busy RL atm, and because the area is phased, I've chosen not to arrange any large scale event for Bael Modan. However, this is an invitation to any individual event organizers and guild leaders to host their own events to search through and secure the site. Feel free to run into leftover kor'kron fanatics, find remnants of weapons and supplies (both mundane and experimental), or discover traps left behind (perhaps the kor'kron have left a bomb behind, for example).
No need to talk to me about it. If you want to host an event there for your guild/other players, feel free to devise whatever situation you wish.
Map Updates:
- Spoiler:
- - Rebellion forces from Thunderbluff take Frazzlecrazz Motherlode.
- Kor'kron forces at Bael Modan abandon the fortress.

The soldiers retreated back to camp due to injuries substained, large parts of the dwarven fortress still remaining unchecked.

Basicly the poster above hopefully explains what DAMNIT is and does already, if not, here's a lil' explanation:
It's a tinker shop! Simple as that. Created by several tinkers within WT, people can buy their inventions and can ask them to turn their own ideas into actually working inventions for a certain prize of course. Hopefully resulting in fun and creative RP both in and outside WT.

No problem! Customers can request their own ideas to be turned into actual working, 100% safe devices by our experienced and multi talented tinkers.
