[A+H] Lionheart
Lionheart is an Alliance plot that deals with the ongoing events leading up to the deposition of Garrosh Hellscream. It is running in tandem with, though not entirely connected to, the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
This thread is intended to serve as a general info dump and coordination thread, to provide people with all the details they need to have a solid grasp of the situation. It will include maps, summaries of events, and an overall campaign timeline detailing all the little stuff that has made this what it is.
This campaign is not like previous ones you may be used to. It is running with an "all IC" mindset. What this means is that there is very little OOC management going on. While a few events are planned here and there, the goal is for player actions to drive the course of the plot, not an overarching and railroaded storyline. As such, this campaign has no start date or end date (though Garrosh's removal from power will likely be the climax of this plot), and has been ongoing since the middle of patch 5.2. Guilds and players are expected to enter and leave regularly as the plot goes on based on their in-character motivations.
The focus of this campaign is simply to RP out the world storyline as it develops, rather than sitting back in Stormwind and ignoring it.
How can I get involved?
Get in contact with me or other involved guild leaders and officers OOCly or ICly. Preferably ICly.
Who should I contact?
That's a bit trickier. As said, this is a spontaneous, freeform campaign. While I (Areyah) am the central Alliance coordinator, not all events and developments are happening under my watch (there are many, many local guild events happening related to this overall storyline). Your best bet is to get in contact with your guild leader or officers, if you're in an RP guild already.
The guilds and officers who have been involved in some capacity are:
-Stormwind Regiment (Ralegh, Inneh)
-Natures Grasp (Arkil, Thondalar, Aariam, Calisar)
-Wild Tempest (Inran, Eodain, Céléste)
-The Three Hammers (Gilran, Khordun)
-Blooming Lotus (Jusiin)
-Disciples of Light (Valestrion, Beladon, Wulfgnar)
-Holy Lightbringers (Maelmoor)
-Blazing Shields (Falrock)
-Freelancers (Siegmund, Allonia, Menori, Manderson)
-Blades for Hire (Kashou, Sohan, Redsnout, Doowor)
-The Forlorn Cartel (Rihani)

- Spoiler:
- Fighting around Northwatch Hold has been nearly completed. After a tough fight breaking the siege on Wednesday, Alliance forces began preparing to assault the remaining kor'kron outposts. Three yet remained before the fortress could be fully secured--the fire support base perching at the other side of the ravine, the naval base at Fray Island, and the blockade itself.
Alliance forces divided into three teams. An assault team lead by Marshal Gilran Steelfist lead the charge against the FSB. Choosing to use the less-guarded rear entrance, Marshal Steelfist's team charged past kor'kron forces on mounts. On the way they passed a kor'kron prison camp, but they ignored it in order to focus on their primary mission objective. Sadly, the choice to do so resulted in the execution of the Alliance prisoners being held there when it became clear that the FSB would fall, but it ensured that Steelfist's group were able to hit the FSB while its defenders were still unprepared. Though the group took heavy wounds, they managed to clear out the base, destroy its siege weapons, and recover leftover supplies and intel.
Meanwhile, a covert strike team lead by Lieutenant Iriel Silversong set out on rowboats towards the naval base, with the goals of securing the outpost and eliminating the kor'kron commander, Admiral Krulkar Deadmane, and his command staff. Things did not go as planned, however, and what should have been a covert mission ended up being a straight up siege! Casualties were heavy, eventually necessitating Lieutenant Silversong to request reinforcements. But the mission was a success, with the island secured and the naval command staff wiped out. Admiral Deadmane managed to escape during the fighting, however, and one of our heroes was captured and flown off to who knows where! Is it the last we've seen of either? Unlikely.
While all of this was happening, Wild Tempest marines and bombers set out to take down elements of the kor'kron blockade out at sea. Even with the attacks on the FSB and the NB, however, the blockade was well-coordinated and able to repel the assault, though a few ships have been forced to withdraw to Bilgewater Harbor for repairs. The rest of the fleet has begun to break up following the destruction of the naval base, though it may still be possible to take down a few of the ships before they withdraw completely.
Key intel was recovered from both land locations, though it will take the Alliance some time to decrypt and translate it. This information could greatly assist the Alliance's efforts in Southern Barrens, and may even be of use to the Rebellion. Admiral Deadmane is still at large, however, and may yet prove to be a threat to the Alliance--and perhaps the Rebellion as well.
Now the Alliance turns its eye south, towards retaking its lost territory. It is not yet prepared to move, however, as it waits on repairs of damaged planes and steam tanks and shipments of oil and gas from the Alliance's holdings in Stonetalon. These shipments, moving through the dangerous Overgrowth, will be prime targets for raids from hostile groups like the Blood Wolves, who have already carried out several hit and run attacks on Alliance forces.

- Spoiler:
- More reinforcements! The Disciples of Light, Holy Lightbringers, and Blazing Shields have arrived at Northwatch, though after weathering some attacks by Horde in the area.
(Sunday, July 21st)
- Spoiler:
- Representatives from Stormwind, Darnassus, and Ironforge met once again with leaders of the Northern Rebellion at Moonglade. Negotiations were tense, with an irate Gilran Steelfist and his honor guard being escorted from the meeting by Cenarion Circle guards. Additionally, there were confrontations over a territory recently claimed by the Alliance. The Unearthed Grounds, a quarry that squats next to Northwatch Expedition Camp in Stonetalon, had declared rebel at the start of the civil war. Evidence uncovered by the Alliance indicated that it was providing support for the kor'kron and staging attacks on Alliance settlements. The camp was declared kor'kron-aligned by the expedition camp commander, and eventually claimed by the Alliance after Blooming Lotus secured the area.
The Rebellion refused to believe the Alliance's evidence, claimed the Alliance had broken the truce and slaughtered Rebel personnel, and demanded the quarry be returned. After a near hour of arguing, the decision was made that the Rebels would be allowed control over the quarry and that any future evidence of traitors would be passed on to the Rebels to deal with, but that regular shipments of stone from the quarry would be sent to the Alliance. Alliance workers are withdrawing from the site and being reassigned to other areas, while Northwatch Expeditionary troops are assembling at the quarry's border and monitoring it very closely for signs of treacherous activity.
Other topics raised were the encroachment of the sha from Orgrimmar, which the night elven bloc believed to be a grave threat to the region. The Eastern Kingdoms bloc discounted the threat, however, and instead requested the Rebels infiltrate Bilgewater Harbor and sabotage the main cannon so that the Alliance Navy can pass by safely when the Siege of Orgrimmar begins.
Lastly, the Rebels and the Alliance exchanged investigation reports regarding the poisoning of the Stormwind food shipment sent to the Northern Rebellion at the beginning of the civil war, in order for both sides to be able to make a full understanding of the incident. The investigation throws the blame off of Stormwind and instead onto the Kor'kron--who had raided the transport ship while it was en route to Zoram'gar--though there are suspicions that rogue members of the Rebellion itself may have been behind it.
It was quite clear from this meeting that the Alliance continues to be divided and that tensions between the Alliance and the Rebellion remain high. Several threats about breaking the truce were made from both sides during the meeting. The truce may not last for much longer.
Meanwhile, Freelancers along with Soulyna from the Blades and Iriel from Regiment went on a second attempt at a rescue mission for one of their lost members. Following tracks south of the Overgrowth they fought past wildlife and a Kor'kron scouting party, before finally retrieving their member and returning to Northwatch.
(Monday, July 22nd)
- Spoiler:
- The beach between Dustwallow Marsh and Northwatch Hold has been mined! Warning signs have been put up on both sides of the pass. Anyone trying to sneak up on the rear of the keep is very likely to get blown to smithereens in an earth-shattering kaboom. Rowboats may be used to move safely around the minefield, but enemy boats are very likely to be spotted and shot at before reaching shore.
Additionally, a sermon was held by Irys Grimrock and Jean-Pierre d'Armagnac, who are hoping that it will help raise morale among the soldiers.
(Tuesday, July 23rd)
- Spoiler:
- Alliance forces at Northwatch were busy preparing for the attack on Forward Command. Supplies from Stonetalon (what ones made it past the kor'kron and "rebel" attacks) were quickly put to use, and the dwarves have been busy repairing their steamtanks after they received battle damage when they ran the blockade a week earlier. Three have been restored to working condition.
Meanwhile, Wild Tempest embarked on an operation to purge the corruption afflicting the Overgrowth. After clandestinely moving through Dustwallow Marsh, they arrived at the southern tip of the Barrens. There they found the source, in Razorfen Downs. The quillboar, under Gertrude Snarlsnout, were in the process of summoning a dark and shadowy god spoken of in some ancient troll legend. With the assistance of some unexpected allies, Wild Tempest managed to close the gateway and eliminate the corruption.
(Wednesday, July 24th)
- Spoiler:
- War! The Alliance rolled out to reclaim Forward Command from the kor'kron. Unfortunately for the Alliance, the kor'kron were well-prepared. After the first three attack waves failed to breach the defensive lines, the Alliance was forced to send its entire remaining reserves into battle. Though they finally managed to rout the Horde from Forward Command, the Alliance suffered heavy casualties and gave the kor'kron more than enough time to secure any important documents and supplies and withdraw their siege weapons back to Fort Triumph.
Ultimately, the victory was a hollow one. Mountains of bodies--mostly Alliance--still surround the hill even after protracted efforts by Wild Tempest and other groups to clear them. Bonfires burn late into the night, as each body is searched, identified, given its last rites, and then cast into the flames. It is a bitter reminder that even though the kor'kron may be losing the war, they are still formidable opponents who will not go down lightly.
As if the initial battles weren't enough, Horde remnants continued to assault the Alliance forces several hours after formal victory was declared. Medical supply caravans were raided, and a lumber party was cancelled due to the danger. Though these attacks did little damage to Alliance troops, they greatly delayed construction work and search-and-rescue operations.
Searches for survivors continue throughout the night, and surprisingly both Alliance and Horde wounded are being taken to the infirmary and tended to. Those Horde survivors, once stabilized, are being placed inside recently-erected cages to await transfer to formal prisoner of war camps. They are provided food and water, and Alliance soldiers have been ordered to treat them with dignity and respect despite being enemies.
The Alliance's next target is Fort Triumph, though it is unclear how the outpost will be taken after the casualties sustained at Forward Command. The fort will need to be softened up by artillery and air support if any successful attack is to be made. However, it is likely the kor'kron have plans of their own. With the Alliance's position at Forward Command tenuous, there is a strong chance that the kor'kron will stage more raids and attacks before the week is done.
(Thursday, July 25th)
- Spoiler:
- Dwarven gryphon riders went scouting around the South Barrens to track enemy (and rebel) troop movements. While out, they managed to find an abandoned ale reserve near Bael Modan! They have brought it back to the camp, and delivered the kegs to the kitchen. Be quick, the reserves won't last long!
Meanwhile, there were several incidents of treachery and thievery at camp. One man, claiming to be from the 3rd Regiment, was found searching through crates. Though he was let lose, he was later found trying to steal strategic reports and maps from the admiral's tent! He was run down and chained, to be interrogated by Section Seven agents.
Additionally, a 1st Regiment member brought a blood elf death knight near the borders of the camp. Though this blood elf claimed to be rebel, the fact that she had no identifying colors and lacked any official documents lead to her being ordered to leave the camp. Despite the brandishing of weapons, there was (mostly) no bloodshed over the tense incident.
And yet another convoy was attacked! This convoy, carrying raw ore and gases from Stonetalon to Northwatch, was intercepted in the Overgrowth. The convoy never reached Northwatch, and none of the men have reported in. Someone needs to go and find out what happened.
A couple of Freelancers and others from the camp went to investigate rumours of cursed ruins in the Overgrowth, finding something quite different than what they expected. Encountering a gnome warlock of the Frozen Covenant and his partner there, a fight soon erupted. The gnome got away, and the ruins look quite worse for wear.
Some Disciples of Light initiates, still lacking their right to wear the Disciples guild tabard, would've been spotted with High Chaplain Beladon and Chaplain General Valestrion leaving the Infirmary where the disciples are often most present. They would of been seen on the outskirts of the camp to the North of the Infirmary and northwest of the middle of the camp. Any passers by in the early evening would've seen three initiates completing a written test under supervision of Beladon and Valestrion.
In the later evening they would of stumbled upon a full meeting in the same place of all of the Disciples of the Light at the camp, as well as a rank progression ceremony whereby, Brother Ricmond, Sister Anne and Brother Caillen advanced in rank and took a new set of vowels all other members were also requested to take.
Brother Ricmond, progressed onto the path of an Adept Scout. Sister Anne progressed onto the path of an Adept Field Medic. Brother Caillen progressed onto the path of a Squire. During the ceremony they were awarded their silk embroidered cloth tabards and ceased to be initiates having proven themselves to their order in their deeds and also the intellect required to represent their order.
Later in the evening a mixture of Disciple and Blazing Shield officers could be seen in the middle of the infirmary engaging in a game of poker, some serious coin passed hands and left some momentarily bitterness about the camp. Chaplain Wulfgnar could be seen by onlookers slamming his fist on the table in frustration, clearly the poker went badly for him.
(Friday, July 26th)
- Spoiler:
- Hysteria has engulfed the camp after a Freelancer discovered a cursed book filled with dark magic! The book, once its curse was activated, instantly began to tempt all those who looked upon it into wanting it for themselves. Even righteous Disciple paladins and the admiral herself were afflicted by its magic, and soon fights broke out all over camp, leading to a final showdown at the ruins south of Forward Command. Though direct hostilities have ended, the book has still yet to be located, and so its influence continues to linger on.
Forward Command now has a well for fresh water. The well is located directly under the central watch tower. For now it is a crude hole in the earth, with water down below. Masonry and a pulley system with buckets have yet to be made. Arcane sentry wards have also been placed around the central tower to protect it from enemy attack, and additionally around the well in order to keep the water pure.
The Alliance units conducted training in the form of war games, with the hope of ensuring that the next battle does not go as sour as the last one.
Lastly, Disciple scouts discovered the lost convoy. It is believed to have been hit by Horde soldiers, and its supplies of ore and gas, as well as its wheels, were stolen. There is also concern that some of the convoy's staff may have been captured. If so, efforts must be taken to locate and rescue them.
(Saturday-Tuesday, July 27th-30th)
- Spoiler:
- The camp has spent the last several days repelling multiple kor'kron assaults and preparing for the coming battle for Fort Triumph. Most prominent has been the continued placement of wards. One such recent ward to have been put in effect was a barrier to prevent all use of Fel energies and magics used within the encampment due to recent Warlock interference. The warding shield extends over the camp including tents and the infirmary, acting as in an invisible veil.
On Saturday, Wild Tempest conducted a promotion ceremony, seeing several members appointed higher grades. Later that night, Commander Thilliath and the Blazing Shields offered blacksmithing services for the camp, repairing arms and armor.
On Monday, the beginning phase of the attack on Fort Triumph was put into motion. Gyrocopter bombers with gryphon escorts flew off from Northwatch Hold to Fort Triumph, where they dropped bombs on kor'kron defensive emplacements. Though initial plans were to hit Triumph, Desolation Hold, and Bael Modan, Horde air resistance downed multiple fliers and necessitated calling off the attacks on the other two locations. The attack however was a success, however, and most Horde artillery has been destroyed. Since this event, dwarven steamtanks have begun bombarding the fort from afar as they are now mostly safe from enemy artillery.
Throughout the weekend there has been several contacts with the rogue Horde group, the Blood Wolves. They attacked an Alliance convoy in the Overgrowth and captured two prisoners. Scouts from the Disciples of Light managed to locate the destroyed caravan and relay this information back to High Command. Later, the Blood Wolves sent a diplomat to discuss trading the prisoners for the orc the Alliance captured at Northwatch two weeks earlier. Though the negotiations were somewhat hostile, a mutual exchange was arranged for the coming days.
Since then, however, the Blood Wolves have managed to take several more Alliance troops prisoner. After the air raid on Fort Triumph, several pilots crashed in Dustwallow Marsh. A search-and-rescue team composed of members of Wild Tempest, 1st Regiment, and Blazing Shields made initial contact with the Blood Wolves while trying to find the downed pilots, but discovered that they had been captured by the Blood Wolves, who have demanded a ransom for their return.
On Tuesday, as Alliance forces were still preparing for the battle to come, Kor'kron-altered raptors went on to engage those stationed at Forward Command. Some Alliance went to meet the main charge head on at the edge of The Overgrowth. Some of these raptors were even equiped with bombs and acted as sappers seriously injuring a large number of people. The last trick up the Kro'kron sleeve was a even more mutated raptor monstrosity which even when defeated detonated due to the unstable magic used on it. Thankfully to the bravery of soldiers and the determination of medics, surgeons, magical healers and alike back at Forward command the threat was averted. The stench of dark magic and raptor insides still lingers in the overgrowth. Yet the area of origin the Kor'kron-altered raptors is still unknown
Additionally, there has been reports that anti-night-elf discrimination has been increasing amongst the lower ranks.
(Wednesday, July 31st)
- Spoiler:
- The Alliance took the fight to Fort Triumph, beginning the day with a concentrated artillery barrage from dwarven steamtanks before sending in troops to secure the fort. Though the kor'kron managed to repel one wave, the Alliance were successful in routing them and have reclaimed Triumph.
The Alliance has therefore relocated to Fort Triumph, though this is only temporary. A force will soon be sent to take Bael Modan from the few kor'kron left defending it, before the Alliance moves north again, to Northwatch Hold. From there, the bulk of the army will be rotated back to Stormwind for some rest and recuperation before the Siege of Orgrimmar, though some will remain behind to assist with the harassment of kor'kron operations in Northern Barrens.
(Thursday, August 1st)
- Spoiler:
- Jean-Pierre d'Armagnac and the Disciples of Light host a basic first aid tutoring session to provide the soldiers with training on the basics of tending to the wounds of their fellow men. Another raid by kor'kron hits Triumph shortly after, but is repelled.
During the raid, Admiral Conover, Monrena Scaletail, and Damien Kraldar ride out to meet with the Blood Wolves to conduct a prisoner exchange. They deliver the orc, Gruunak, back to them in exchange for two soldiers that had been captured from the missing convoy. In addition, ransoms were paid for the three captured Wild Tempest pilots--Tachal, Zibble, and Nimble.
(Friday, August 2nd)
- Spoiler:
- Word is reaching Fort Triumph that the kor'kron forces at Bael Modan have abandoned the fortress. While many have fled into Dustwallow to wait out the war, some moving to Mudsprocket and others seeking to join the Blood Wolves, a few have surrendered to the Alliance. The fortress now stands empty, though the kor'kron may have left some things behind...
(Tuesday, September 11th)
- Spoiler:
- The Siege of Orgrimmar has begun. Late Saturday evening, the combined 3rd and 7th Fleets of the Alliance Navy set sail from Valiance Keep, destined for Orgrimmar. Above the fleets fly the gunships Skyfire and Northshire, along with their escort aircraft. The plan is simple. The 7th Fleet, carrying thousands of 7th Legionnaires in its multitude of transport vessels, will make a beach landing on the eastern coast of Durotar before regrouping at Northwatch Hold. Meanwhile, the 3rd Fleet, comprised of some of the Alliance's most powerful warships, will sail ahead to provide naval escort to the 7th's precious transports. The fleets will drive south through the main Horde fleet outside of Azshara, which is in dissaray after the capture of Bilgewater Harbor by rebel forces under General Rargnasha Bloodmark.
Contact with the enemy is made on Tuesday morning, off the eastern coast of Azshara, as the main Horde fleet intercepts the advance Alliance 3rd Fleet. The Horde fleet is under the command of Admiral Krulkar Deadmane, an orc that escaped the Alliance's clutches after the breaking of the blockade around Northwatch Hold. Deadmane has sworn to see the Alliance fleets crushed and Bilgewater retaken for Garrosh Hellscream at any cost, and is willing to use whatever methods he can to achieve victory. Cannonfire can be heard from as far as Bilgewater itself, as Deadmane's fleet and the Alliance 3rd Fleet begin trading blows on the open sea.
South of Orgrimmar, the rebel forces under Vol'jin begin making their moves. With their position now secured and well-supplied for an extended siege, they have moved to cut off Durotar from the remaining kor'kron outposts in the Barrens, and have begun marching their armies north to engage General Nazgrim's forces at Orgrimmar's walls. Naval forces from both Silvermoon and Undercity are also en route to Durotar, preparing to join the landing with their Alliance allies.
Meanwhile, Garrosh Hellscream has made a visit to his mine in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in Pandaria, intent on acquiring his new prize from the depths of the Vale's dark heart. He is confident that its power will enable him to fend off all incursions on his territory. The Shado-Pan and the Golden Lotus have moved to stop him from unleashing this great evil onto Azeroth, but it is unlikely that they will succeed...
(Saturday, September 14th)
- Spoiler:
- In his quest for ever-greater power, Garrosh Hellscream has unearthed the heart of an Old God from deep beneath the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Though the Shado-Pan attempted to intervene, they were too late to stop Hellscream from using the Vale's blessed waters to empower the evil artifact. This act has unleashed great destruction across the Vale, and finally awakened the Sha of Pride from its slumber.
Garrosh has taken the heart back to Orgrimmar. In his wake, survivors flee to to the Alliance and Horde Shrines and to Mistfall Village, which survived the devastation. Some organizations, such as the Blooming Lotus Society and the Alliance 157th "Wild Tempest" Company, and even the Black Hand, have journeyed to the Vale to find out exactly what happened...

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
Campaign Timeline
5.2
- Stormwind Minister of Defense Areyah Conover sends Commander "Tomb" and other Section Seven agents to look into the Horde situation in Kalimdor and determine the validity of exploiting the growing tensions. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
- The Ministry of Defense [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and commissions them to take [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
- Conover meets with Ironforge Senator of War Gilran Steelfist to discuss whether Ironforge would support the possibility of exploiting the tensions in the Horde by supporting a rebel faction. Steelfist gives only tentative support to the idea, and is in favor of eliminating both groups once the war is over.
- Conover sends Spymaster Helmut Spoon and other Alliance infiltrators to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] across Horde settlements to entice hostilities within the Horde.
5.3
- Tensions in the Horde reach their breaking point, and it descends into civil war. On one side is the Kor'kron under Garrosh Hellscream, and on the other the Darkspear Rebellion under Vol'jin.
- Section Seven agents and Alliance heroes open initial talks with Vol'jin, and a truce is made. Alliance forces are then sent to northern Barrens to assist in resource operations there--stealing resources from the kor'kron and delivering them to both the Alliance and to the Rebellion.
- Ex-Shado-Pan Paozi Wulong approaches Conover and informs her that he has infiltrated [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Conover uses him to set up a first neutral meeting, held at Moonglade and attended by Stormwind officials Conover and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maelmoor Lightbringer and the command staff of the Northern Rebellion. Initial arrangements are made, along with a promise of food shipment from Stormwind and bringing in the night elves for the next meeting.
- Wild Tempest moves to Kalimdor. 1st Regiment approaches Conover and requests intel in preparation for their own deployment, which will take place a month later.
- The Freelancers are contracted to deliver the food shipment to Zoram'gar. Due to shoddy record keeping by the Stormwind harbor master, however, only half of the shipment is sent.
- Keeper Arkil Stormfeather of Natures Grasp is contacted regarding the civil war and the truce with the Rebellion. He and several other elves attend the next neutral summit, alongside Lieutenant Inran of Wild Tempest who have been working in the Ashenvale region, where further arrangements are made.
- Operations in Ashenvale and Stonetalon begin in earnest, though due to differences of opinion between Stormwind and Darnassus, the majority of action consists of supporting the Rebellion's efforts with no territorial gains made for the Alliance. Darnassus believes that they should let the Horde and Rebels kill each other off while attending to other threats to the forest, while Stormwind desires to secure territory for the Alliance in order to ensure that the Rebels focus on Azshara and so that the Alliance has a strong bulwark against the Horde should they become hostile again after the war has been concluded.
- The Freelancers deliver the second half of the food shipment. The Rebels later report that this shipment was poisoned, and blame Stormwind. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that reveals that either the kor'kron--who raided the transport carrying the shipment while it was en route--or rogue elements of the Rebellion are to blame.
- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], and a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
- Minister of Internal Affairs Rihani Deephaven, speaking on behalf of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], approaches Conover and requests permission to engage in piracy against kor'kron shipping. Conover provides a letter of marque, making Deephaven and her group Alliance privateers. The group engages in several successful attacks on kor'kron naval operations along the Pandarian and eastern Kalimdor coasts.
- Blades for Hire is contracted by the Ministry of Defense to perform patrols of Duskwood while Stormwind is focusing on the war effort.
- Blooming Lotus and Natures Grasp arrange for food shipments to the Rebellion from the Valley of Four Winds, as Stormwind has ceased its own shipments.
- Conover and night elf huntress Aariam Nightborn arrange a plan that splits Wild Tempest from Natures Grasp, putting the former in Stonetalon and the latter in Ashenvale. Though plan was made with the intent of hitting multiple targets at once, Conover saw it as an opportunity to separate the two "blocs" from each other due to their differences in overall goals.
- Wild Tempest moves through Stonetalon, securing the kor'kron oil fields at Sludgewerks, neutralizing kor'kron supply lines, and breaking a kor'kron siege of Thal'darah. Wild Tempest then moves southeast to eliminate Horde infiltrators from the Deep Reaches at Northwatch Expedition Camp and to conquer the Unearthed Grounds and a kobold mine.
- The last agreed-upon Stormwind shipment--lumber--is sent to the Rebellion.
- 1st Regiment deploys to Kalimdor, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Both the Freelancers and the Blades for Hire volunteer.
- Wild Tempest, 1st Regiment, Freelancers, and Blades for Hire rendezvous at Honor's Stand, after Wild Tempest defeated a kor'kron attack on the base.
- The Alliance scouts the Overgrowth, assessing its dangers prior to the move to Northwatch Hold.
- The Alliance moves east from Honor's Stand to secure Northwatch Hold, which has been under heavy siege and blockade by the kor'kron. While there, they rendezvous with the Three Hammers. The Alliance manages to break the siege, and eventually push forward to eliminate the kor'kron's forward operating bases.
- Blood Wolves attack Northwatch, but are driven off. The Alliance take one of them prisoner in the process.
- Disciples of Light, Holy Lightbringers, and Blazing Shields arrive at Northwatch Hold to assist with operations. The next goal for the Alliance is to reclaim Forward Command, Fort Triumph, and Bael Modan, which are under the control of the kor'kron.
- Unearthed Grounds is returned to the Rebellion on the condition of providing regular stone shipments to the Alliance, in order to quell disputes about whether the earlier Alliance attack on the quarry was justified.
- Freelancers along with Soulyna from the Blades and Iriel from Regiment went on a second attempt at a rescue mission for one of their lost members. Following tracks south of the Overgrowth they fought past wildlife and a Kor'kron scouting party, before finally retrieving their member and returning to Northwatch.
- Mines were placed at the beach pass connecting Northwatch Hold to Dustwallow Marsh to prevent enemy movements into the keep's rear.
- Wild Tempest travels covertly through Dustwallow Marsh to Razorfen Downs, in order to eliminate a quillboar summoning that has been corrupting the surrounding land.
- The Alliance army takes Forward Command from the kor'kron, but suffers heavy casualties in the assault.
- Gryphon riders and gyrocopter pilots from Three Hammers and Wild Tempest bomb Fort Triumph, softening its defenses in preparation for assault. Several downed pilots are captured by the Blood Wolves following this raid.
- An excursion into the Overgrowth discovers that the kor'kron are altering raptors for use as weapons.
- The Alliance army takes Fort Triumph.
- A prisoner exchange with the Blood Wolves is completed, returning their captured orc and paying a ransom in return for 5 captured Alliance soldiers.
- Kor'kron forces at Bael Modan abandon the fortress, knowing that they would not be able to fend off an Alliance assault. Alliance forces succeed at mopping up any remaining kor'kron forces and securing the fortress.
- The Alliance solidifies its control over its retaken territories in south Barrens, and begins to prepare for the Siege of Orgrimmar.
- Wild Tempest travels to Pandaria to combat remaining kor'kron forces there, and to defend Alliance resource operations on the continent.
- Tian Monastery forsakes its neutrality by choosing to harbor Alliance military personnel and permit them to stage attacks on the kor'kron.
- Wild Tempest assaults the kor'kron airfield in Jade Forest, which had been rebuilt after being destroyed during the Jade Fist campaign. They then move on to Honeydew and eliminate the kor'kron presence there.
- The Alliance holds a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at Valiance Keep, including multiple organizations and Darkspear Rebellion representatives, in final preparation for Orgrimmar.
5.4
- The Alliance fleet sails from Valiance Keep to Orgrimmar, beginning the Siege.
- Garrosh Hellscream retrieves the heart of an Old God from below the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and uses the Vale's blessed waters to empower it. Much of the Vale has been destroyed by sha energies as a result of these actions. Blooming Lotus, Wild Tempest, and the Black Hand journey to the Vale to investigate.

As said in the rebellion thread, due to coordination issues and a general communication problem, I've decided to make a separate thread for the Alliance campaign efforts. This is primarily to serve as a central info dump for Alliance players interested in getting involved.

Re: [A+H] Lionheart
(Sunday, July 21st)
Representatives from Stormwind, Darnassus, and Ironforge met once again with leaders of the Northern Rebellion at Moonglade.

By the way, those who were back at Northwatch today, feel free to write up a description of what went on. Or just give me a run down and I'll write something up.
Same goes for the future. If people on either front (Northwatch and Astranaar) run events, let me know with a summary and I'll write it up for here.

The beach between Dustwallow Marsh and Northwatch Hold has been mined!

New map. Added minefield (Skull and Crossbones), expanded Blood Wolves territory based on their new gains, and Thunderbluff NPC forces have started to attack the kor'kron outpost at Taurajo.
