Re: Cataclysm Alpha / SPOILERS BE AND GOES HERE!
I still think there needs to be more cities than just towns and a few places worthy of being called a city.
I mean, really...the size of Azeroth should be able to take cities! Not like the Titans will asplode the planet because 'omfg they called a town a city!'

Might be some stuff there.

So far on that, I see...
Lor'themar Theron gets new gear (hopefully comes with his voice):

Jarod Shadowsong returns: http://fluxflashor.net/forum/cataclysm/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=141
I don't quite like the looks of the private servers though, that's for sure! Yarr.

Both make sense. Trolls already have the potential as do Dwarves. Shamans and Magi both become warlocks through corruption.

This is gonig to be interesting, If i remember right practicing fel magic is against ironforge laws, atleast for dwarves. But don't quote me on it.

I think the Dark Iron story-line will solve that. THe Ironforge and Shadowforge senates will have to be put together.

People who practise Fel magic are evil and even if they're not, they will become evil.

Naturally! Although in that case, why should whether or not practising Fel magic in Ironforge be an issue? It'd be forbidden obviously, wouldn't it? At any rate, dwarf warlocks will look ridiculous.

Re: Cataclysm Alpha / SPOILERS BE AND GOES HERE!
Dwarf Warlocks ridiculous?
Dwarves have been mages for quite a long time now ICly, even before they apparently met the gnomes. While it might have been somewhat banned among Ironforge/Wildhammer due to War of the Three Hammers.
Dark-Iron have plenty of spellcasters and in the end most warlocks tend to be ex-mages who just wanted more power and easier.
Also unlike the Draenei I would say that Dwarves are very much corruptable by Fel Magic, it's just rare seeing as outside dark-iron there aren't many magicians and those pesky dark-irons are more likely to serve Old Gods, who also like to provide forbidden knowledge and what not.

Re: Cataclysm Alpha / SPOILERS BE AND GOES HERE!
A: "Alright, so we're here talking with Cory Stockton, the lead dungeon designer at Blizzard Entertainment, in sunny Irvine, California. What can you tell us about this dungeon you're currently working on?"
CS: "Well, Avan, we're working on a new Caverns of Time instance."
A: "Cool! I love that whole area and being able to go back and play through important parts of the lore."
CS: "We're pretty fond of it, too. Well, this new instance is the Razing of Stormwind. If you're unfamiliar with the lore, this is when the Orcs raze Stormwind, Garona kills King Llane, and the humans have to migrate north to Lordaeron."
A: "That's really cool! Are we going to be visiting disguised as humans, or will we be playing the role of the Orcs this time?"
CS: "Actually, we're doing this thing where the dungeon experience changes based on your faction. Alliance players will be coming back as an Orc to raze the city, while Horde players will be coming back to escape Stormwind."
A: "It'll bascially be two dungeons in one, then?"
CS: "Yes."
A: "This is a new approach to dungeon design. So what else can you tell us about how the instance plays out?"
CS: "As I said before, Alliance players will be razing Stormwind as an Orc. Players will find themselves witnessing the assassination of King Llane by Garona, and then running to signal the Orcs outside for the attack. From there, it's all destruction and chaos. We've got some siege vehicles that the players can use, buildings for them to destroy, and escaping civilians lined up like lambs for the slaughter. It's pretty awesome."
A: "Sounds chaotic! What's in store for Horde players?"
CS: "Horde players will find themselves starting inside of a tavern that is being attacked by the Orcs. They've got to round up as many evacuees as they can before escorting them out of the city. You'll be travelling to Lordaeron by boat, out of the harbor. Along the way, you'll see the sights of Tol Barad without actually landing. When you finally do land, you've got to lead the survivors north into Lordaeron. It's an epic escort mission."
A: "It sounds... like a search and rescue followed by an escort event. Honestly, that doesn't sound too exciting."
CS: "It's plenty exciting! The caravan gets attacked along the way, but not constantly. I think we're looking at the first attack as you head to the harbor, another attack while you're sailing out of Stormwind, and the last attack when you land."
A: "Three random attacks, that's it? What are you doing to make sure that players won't be going AFK or falling asleep during the event?"
CS: "Well, the evacuation of Stormwind is a pretty pivotal part of the lore. Seeing it unfold first hand will be worth the two hour escort each time. That, and there is all the combat in the escape at the beginning of the instance?"
A: "...Right. How would you say the difference in action is between Alliance and Horde?"
CS: "Alliance will definitely be seeing more action, but with the way we've refined escort missions, Horde players will be getting to see a more unique brand of action."
A: "Can I ask why the decision was made to split the instance like this, with Alliance playing as Orcs and Horde playing Humans (again)?"
CS: "We honestly just hate the Horde. Just kidding! (No I'm not.) We think it's just more important for the Alliance to see why their king hates the Horde, or more specifically, the Orcs."
A: "What does Horde get?"
CS: "A thirty minute deserter debuff and 5% off their next faction change. No, really."
A: "Um... Thanks for having me today. I think that's all the time we have..."

It sounds awesome, Considering I'm pretty un-familar with the whole Stormwind lore.
Proably should check if it's genuine.
