Yep, the Neopolitan Mastiffs are the ones that Blizzard are introducing.

Before mmo champion was forced to bring down the pictures, it showed the mastiffs and they were definitely the floppy kind and not the retriever lookalikes ones.

A good choice. I'll be getting Anaei one of those if she goes Hunter. A good firm hunting dog with the will to kill those pesky foxes that will most likely be critters in Gillneas!

I certainly hope other races can get a mastiff.
This is going to lead to a whole legion of colonial british forsaken hunters in the barrens on an endless safari.

It's just the starter pets, so yes. The original system will still apply.
