The only arguments that aren't inadequate, are logical and mathematical aguments.

And you won't convince anything with those, since everyone is already convinced of them, since they're indefeatible and necessarily true.

On the topic of the OP:

People shouldn't have to include anyone in their own RP. This is their own game they play. Some people aren't friendly types to speak IC. They MIGHT be able or want to help OOC (a friendly hello in whisper, a helping hand (reach around Amaryl, reach around), whatever. And that would be cool. But not including the stranger who walks in the bar instantly in your conversation, that's not the same as snubbing. Snubbing is a conscious decision to exclude. That's a bit shit, yeah. But doesn't mean every situation should be inclusive. Some definitely aren't (I don't turn and greet every bum walking in the pub when I'm sat drinking with my (imaginary) friends, infact often I don't see people enter, or leave, and that could be the same in game for our characters).

Some people do ignore and snub because they're on a high horse and don't understand or want to know. Well, bollocks to them. Enjoy your game, go speak to someone else. Not wanting to include someone just because they arrive and say hello isn't "bad RP". But it could be bad manners. It's not exactly hard to tell someone in a two line whisper that you'd love to chat, just maybe later...

Edit: For clarity. Whilst I say "some people do..." my personal experience? They're few and far between. The "RP elite" are like rocking horse poo. Sure there are specific groups who play often together (in and out of guild structure). But cliquey, powerful and lordy RP nazis? I can't remember the last time I came across one (in this game).

I didn't have any role-playing mentors. I wasn't taught what meta-gaming is or what godmoting is. I figured this all out on my own, with common sense, by putting myself out there and role-playing with lots and lots of people. I didn't need no guides, no projects, no sweeping epic riling forum threads to inspire me. I rolled a character and started playing. I put myself out there and learned from every interaction I had. I was snubbed, I was ignored, and after a while, I started getting recognized and at lucky times, even celebrated. All on my own strength, without needing anyone to hold my hand. I hand-picked my own lore authorities after talking to lots of people OOC. I selected my own guild after having interact with lots of guilds and finding one to my liking. I didn't have to be bombarded by guides and mentors.

Well, Thelos, that's good for you.

People are different. Even if we put aside the fact that the server has changed massively (it's harder to find RP, let alone get involved with it), it's still different from person to person. Some find it harder to start interacting with people than others.

And if nobody even writes about RP, how do you expect them to know what it is? Blizzard doesn't even mention it. Hell, I'd expect there's a big chunk of the playerbase that's never even heard of it, but could enjoy it.

Don't apply personal experience to everyone, it doesn't work.

Now for another thing while I have some peoples attention.. If you have something against me or my characters Roleplay say it to me and not my friends. It gets really annoying when I hear people complaining to my friends instead of me, after all how can I know what I em doing wrong when I don't look on it as wrong at that moment. I can't improve something I don't know need improvements.

What Thelos means is that if someone finds it harder to interact with other people, that's their own responsbility and they can overcome it if they wish. We're not obliged/dutified to recruit or spend time out of our subscription to aid anyone. If a new player approaches me and wants to join RP, I wouldn't shun him. I don't know many that would - unless they were lolling, in which case it's perfectly in our right to shun them.
