I'm with Delidah on this one. Why would you want to deviate from the norm in the first place? I think you'll find there's plenty of room to navigate in said norm. Just compare how different the characters Sanara, Exaythe and Thelos are. All Anchorites/Anchoresses, completely different personalities and outlooks on life.

Is just that last time I followed the usual route, I was playing a night elf sentinel. Got very bored quickly. That, and my relatively outsider chars have been very fun.
Then again, it could be a nice change to play a character who isn't on the more... Unwelcome side of things.

Deli and Darquan are different from the norm and I enjoy them. Scuzy and Vrachos are not different from the norm, and I enjoy them too. It's all good. Very Happy

I've just always had a thing for "misunderstood evil". Not like outright slaughter evil like Scourge and cults, but Lilenath (wanting to bring blood elves to the top by any means) and Lyniath (Scarlet) have been super fun.

the Draenei do not actively worship the Naaru, they worship the Light, and the Naaru only to the extend that they are its messengers and paragons of it. The Naaru are not Gods.
