Flying Mounts - IC?

Ebon gryphon definetly'. It fits suprisingly well with my Char.

Probably a nether ray. Maybe my silver covenant hippogryph. Describing it as 'just a hippogryph'.

To be honest, even when I get the Frostwyrm im still using my gryphon as my mount, but my real IC mount is the Party Van: 10 passenger spots, 5 crew spots! -nod-

Dragons flying all over the place? Sounds silly to me

I specifically chose tailoring for Galavan, gnome mage on a flying carpet ^^
Tashun will probably use armoured snowy gryphon, I don't see your average humans flying on dragons of immense power

"Average" people wouldn't own flying mounts at all.

I don't think Topper Mcnabb would happen to have a gryphon. There are hippogryph masters for a reason. Selling rides to places because the majority of people could not possibly afford flying steeds. A lot of 'commoners' would struggle to buy horses. Two of my roleplaying characters won't have flying mounts ICly.

I will ride a Paladin with those yellow wings.

Chase is unable and afraid of mounting animals in general, but the chopper will do for my NE. The IC reasoning for that is that he's just so fuckin' cash, bitch.

Green Netherwing dragon for me although will be getting a Cenarion hippogrif soon but i think i will look a little large for it.

Abulos would only ride the finest pure bred golden dragonhawk. None of those cheap Argent ones.

Golden Gryphon, enough for me. No extra-vagant looks or such. Simple, clean, affordable.

As a flying mount i want an airship, like the Ice Crown ones... with guns and a bomb bay... and a guild to go with it... and for everyone to call me Sky Captin! (off to see blizz, some bribery and sucking might be required!)

I used this method...well until Yolun destroied it to stop posessed Bob from getting it and increasing his powers.

Magic Carpet Bob Style:
The whole idea came about as a way to try and get over a partially ruined part of the greymane wall which was being RP'd as a warzone at the time.

Baiscally done by accident Bob was drunk after failing to make the carpet fly 5/6 times.To ease his frustration he vented his rage on his Imp.... as you do.
While doing some target practice he ripped the imp in two the part that hit the carpet before setting it on fire made it hover slightly.

Bob spent the next few days methodically summoning his Imp skinning it and using its bones for needles the imp skin was cut into thread like shreds and woven into the fabric.

Then of course Bob cut himself and bled on the carpet in an attempt to attune it to himself.Bob then travelled to the wall and tried out the carpet.

Naturally being a new item and Bob being too stupid to test it properly the thing was too big and the wind took it causing it go into a tail spin and Bob fell off breaking his arm his leg and almost drowned of course nobody in Gilneas to RP with boring few weeks IC Bob lurking around scrounging for food water and shelter.

Eventually Bob realised his mistakes and cut the carpet down forming a cape.

Being a newish item also limits its abilities doesnt fly per say floats would be a better discription and only goes up down and side to side ect.This will be changed as Bob's skill increases with it.

When the voidwalker comes into the picture I'm thinking summon it and use a barrier to flatten it into a shadowy sort of flying carpet or something.

Hippogryph for Cyndryn, and nada for Eodain and Calen - neither can afford them IC ^^
