[A]<Stormwind Regiment>™
I'm the guard. And I'm here to arrest you. You've broken the law. I did not write the law. I may even disagree with the law. But I will enforce it. No matter how you plead, beg or attempt to stir my sympathies, nothing you do will stop me from placing you in a steel cage with grey bars. If you run away, I will chase you. If you fight me, I will fight back. If you swing a sword at me, I will swing back. By law, I am unable to walk away. I'm a consequence. I am the unpaid bill. I am fate with a badge and a sword. Behind my badge is a heart like yours. I bleed. I think. I love. And yes, I can be killed. And although I'm but one man, I have thousands of brothers and sisters who are the same as me. They will lay down their lives for me. And I them. We stand watch together. A thin blue line. Protecting the prey from the predators. The good from the bad. We are the first Regiment.
GUILD: Stormwind Regiment
CONTACT: Inneh, Timmah, Damondred, Zelium, Waurall, Ravyne , Ralegh, Moller, Adrielle, Bismack, Shieldmaiden
FOCUS: Military & Guard Heavy RP
RACES: Human, Worgen
CLASSES: We accept everyone regardless of class, however we do not accept IC shadowpriests or warlocks(If your char is a warlock that does not automaticly mean you actually rp one)
SUMMARY: Human only military/guard guild based in the City of Stormwind, though we do cover the whole of the Kingdom of Stormwind and we also venture into enemy territory when on a military campaign. A loyal and proud part of the Kings military, we work closely with all official institutions in Stormwind.
Old stuff now currently quite unrelated:
Who we are
The Stormwind Regiment is a heavy roleplaying Stormwind guard/military guild on Defias Brotherhood (EU). We are a roleplaying guild that focuses on military and guard training in things like, discipline, patrols, drills, marches, combat, formations and tactics as well as guard duties and patrols.
You must be a roleplayer or willing to learn roleplay (we will teach you/help you learn) to join.
*UNIFORMS PROVIDED TO ALL*
Every recruit will be given a uniform however we are running VERY low on glyphed gear, which is the uniform for rogues/druids however you can obtain a set that looks just like this from quests around level 20. (A guide for this will be provided in the near future)
Hunters can get an amazing blue looking mail set from quests in the hinterlands.

Our aim and duty is to enforce the player made laws created by the community itself and create an atmosphere of law and order in the city and surrounding Kingdom (of Stormwind) which is both enjoyable and believable to both the members of the Regiment and the criminals/civilians, but also the rest of the roleplaying community as a whole..
We aim to achieve this by providing role-players with a real sense of guard life in Stormwind through routine duties like patrolling and dealing with the civilian population, giving it a realistic and visible presence within the city and surrounding kingdom, or through interactions with those who role-play as criminals, providing them with the feeling that the law is always there and therefore there is a risk of being caught etc. This gives Stormwind a great atmosphere of being a living breathing city.
We understand also that, as a guild that enforces the law, we may sometimes be seen as being overpowered or unfair. That is why we will listen to all role-players and especially the criminals (on an OOC level) to ensure that role-play between the Regiment and the community should be positive and fair for all.
We take our roleplaying and our part in the community very seriously as well as our attitude towards immersion that contributes positively towards a community of role-players that we as a guild are proud to be a part of. And we proudly open our doors to fellow role-players who are keen to join us, or interact with us in any way.
The Stormwind Regiment want to provide a home for both new and old role-players, as well as those who might be curious about role-play and might feel inclined to give it a try. We welcome those with little to no experience, and aim to educate them in a fun and friendly atmosphere, while at the same time shaping and moulding them into experienced, positive and fair role-players.
Ontop of all this. We expect people to always focus on realism, you also need to be familiar with terms such as godemoting or metagaming, along with accepting consequences to your roleplay. Punishments wont be forced upon your character but we expect you to be reasonable enough that actions have consequences.
Last but not least, we are not soulless protecters of justice. We are simple men hoisted into a uniform and given a shiny badge, ocasionally people will expect your character to be the bastion of right and good this however is not expected from you. Your character is still fully allowed to have personality.
On behalf of myself and the entire guild, thank you for reading and we look forward to interacting with you in game.

Having said that, while it is a new guild, let it be known that we have had a lot of experience in this field, having been in the Blazing Shields pretty much since the beginning back in 2008 and was temporarily in charge for a time while the leader was away. Now, to many of you the name Blazing Shields might have alarm bells ringing in your head, let me assure everyone now, the members of this guild, including myself had nothing to do with that which went on with them. When i was in charge of the Shields, I feel we held our selves with respect and we always treated people well etc. and I would say because of this we were respected by most, and when I handed the guild control back, we were in a good place. Then after taking a long break from WoW I came back to find the Shields dead, and i was shocked to hear the things people were telling me. Even though, I had nothing to do with all that, I still felt it was very important to listen to everyone and find out as much as I could, so that I could learn from these past mistakes and make sure the Stormwind Regiment would NEVER repeat these mistake. Anyway, I just wanted to get that out as I'm sure people will make comparisons considering this is a new guard/military guild made by previous Shields.

This set is easily obtainable, you can get the pants, pauldrons and chest armor from the hinterlands while staying (mostly) in one area.
The pants will require you to move slightly but if you just do all the quests you should be asked to do this by the progression anyway
You will start at the dwarven camp just North of Jintha'alor the quests you want are

Once this is done you will get a quest to move to Quel'danil lodge, there is some phasing in the area so you will need to complete the quest to remove kill the undead before you can progress further.
Inside Quel'danil you will get the quest [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] which will leave you with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] once completed.
If we are assuming that your doing these quests for a hunter it will likely mean that you are allready past level 40 and therefore you should have no issue with getting these quests done in no time at all!
For the other pieces of armor ive personally gone with brown boots, belt and gloves.
No helmet (since worgen look damn ugly with every helmet in the damn game)

Have you ever considered renaming the guild into "The Barricade Regiment"?

Light be blessed. Can it be... Has the legacy of my honoured leader Falrock Thilliath risen from the ashes? Still remember those gloriful days. Tomorrow I'll go buy a new laptop and Marlorn "Stew!" O'Killarney will be back refurbished, eager to serve a new regiment of Stormwind.
