Emissary of the Moon - Kaldorei waystation in Stormwind

Sounds great! Big thumbs up for this idea

Just a shout to any SW natives that we'll be in town tonight to sort out the set up of the Waystation, anyone from the local guard guilds are particuarly welcome.

This Waystation is only at the soup kitchen/safe harbour stage, we have no grand claims to being an Embassy or anything like that yet.

Feel free to /w or try to find us lurking in your city

Edit: Any Kaldorei from other guilds or freelancers, feel free to wander over too, you would be very welcome of course.

I'll notify our resident elfs and drag them to the place if i have to.

Where is it? I'd like to stop by too.

Try looking around the area of the secret garden near the transmogrifier in SW, near the Cathedral area.

Had to come and check out your Resident Poet/Player .

Was great fun, hours did just fly by! Lot of people there, from manics willing to cut down the tree to fallen ones *winks to Decurius* and of course plenty of elven friends!

Can i request the main post to be updated with essential knowledge about the waystation project progress, so people would find the essential at the first glance?

The Waystation is up'n'running. We had several prominent guests Tuesday - some of which lead to more RP in Darnassus Wednesday.

I don't believe we have set any fixed "opening hours", but this week there has been people pretty much constantly in the evenings (except Thursday which was Guild Meeting night in Darnassus). When someone is there we try to have the Guild Banner placed in front of the opening.

Current status: Waystation for travellers and safe house for those persecuted by the local authorities. A piece of home away from home offering shelter and hot food to city weary Kaldorei. Acknowledgement level: 2/10 minimum - Contact/acknowledgement has been established with a few organizations.

Wait, means a SW criminal would find shelter there? Is it something people would know?

Only if they were a nelf. Lets just say if you're in trouble it might be worth a try, we've heard stories about the poor treatment of our kin in the city, that's why we're lurking around. It's not what we're advertising to the general public though

A few weeks into the project and it it seems to be trotting on nicely. Tuesday nights are the main random RP sessions, open to all, so feel free to wander by.

(whether your class/race will be welcomed though is another thing )

Now that RL has settled a little (all good things, just not much time to RP) this initiative will be getting another push

Scattered across Stormwind and the outlying districts the following scrolls are popping up, nailed to notice boards and tied around the occaisional tree. Each bearing the same 'crossed wing' seal.

As announced at the last SW Council there will be an Embassy Ball taking place next Saturday (4th May). Celebrating the continued existence of the Embassy and an excuse to make new contacts. SW Keep Gardens from 8 bells onwards.

Publicly announced, so if your character would have an interest/reason in coming along in their finery please do so!

A calendar reminder is up and several moderator invites have been sent out, please do feel free to add/invite on to the list.

If anyone would be willing to help out with entertainers/dancers/waiting staff then you would be very welcome!

Question. Would military representatives be very out-of-place in the Ball? You mentioned making new contacts, and it is what i to would have in mind.

As long as you don't start a fight (well, even if you do) you'd be welcome

If those military reps would have reason/interest in the event, or wish to take the chance to meet people then sure!
