Re: Tzeentch's Thread of Everchanging Topics
Caesar was born in 100 BC, and he crossed the Rubicon in 44 BC. The kidnapping happened in 75 BC. I think he was elected military tribune in that same year, not sure though. Anyway, holding that office would have been his first step up the political ladder. He wasn't exactly a great and powerful man at that point, so that makes it even more awesome.
At least call him the Queen of Bythinia like his contemporaries did when they wanted to slander him
More like GAYus julius Caesar.

We should all use Kha Kahn instead of keizer/kaiser/emperor. Genghis was much coolerder.

That was actually one of Caesar's titles at one point, so no, won't do!

Brutus for Consul 2012.
*edit* quick unrelated question: is there a way to make the Kaiser change the crown laws in CK II?

I think you could try to force him through the faction system.

I don't want to declare war on him, being my brother-in-law, just to get some small counties through De Jure claims.
Oh and to take 2 cities who are apperently still vassaled to some other dick back in to my own hands >>

Unrelated yet related: conquering western Europe, Africa, southern Asia and North America as THE WORKER'S COMMONWEALTH. Greenbeard and Zinkle would be proud of me.

Drefurion... Kill him. Do it. Either you're the Kaiser or nobody is.
I'm having a blast playing as the Hashimids at the moment. The amount of children you can get as a muslim has thus far proven to be very useful. The useless ones get no chance at the throne and you just breed the ones with good traits etc so that they can succeed you.

My current Duke has nine or ten children... and he's still not old enough to not have more... It's fucking annoying! I cannot change inheritence laws, and I am trying to become a centralistic monarch.

It's determined by your wife. At around 40-45 your wife will no longer get pregnant. If you want to get rid of some people in your line of succession may I suggest assassination or nominating them to succeed bishops?

Hmm, yes, investure laws are up. Smart!
Right now I select the son to give my lands to and just make him te lord of all the counties that other sons would inherit.

Yeah, that's a nice way too. But it weakens you and that may not be to your liking. Using investiture to your advantage could keep you a tad stronger while ensuring other people don't inherit shit. Who're you playing as again?

Well the person I made myself, but I started as the count of Gelre, inherited Friesland and Braunsweich through marriage and conquered Breda in the war to usurp the titel of Duke. I didn't want Braunsweich, but it's being ruled by kinsmen, my most loyal allies. I have claims on west-friesland, and alot of Flanders, but can't really press them (I do have quite nice amounts of gold and levies, but stupid Kaiser laws).

Yes! His wife is even the aunt to my current Duke. That should give me some say in his politics.

Relationship bonus, but nothing more really. There's probably a faction seeking to lower crown authority, if not, you should establish it. That way you control its actions. If you get a lot of people into it you could force the issue without getting in a war (just have way more troops than he has or something like that).
Alternatively ensure a successful coup occurs. It could get you what you want.

Tried the first, but there's almost no support for it. It did make the Kaiser make me Master of the Horse.
Coup and get his son on the throne (because he's my kinman, I uh.. know it's silly.. but uh.. feels good to have family on the Imperial throne).. Could try.

Hmm, Dutch culture is almost dead in my game.
I shouldn't have let my family to become German.
