The problem with the special export is that it is sweet. 8% comes by fermenting more sugar making it sweet... yuck.

Budweiser is like a quid a bottle on most student nights in pretty much every town I've been to (which is half the south of England!). Desperados 2 quid a bottle in Southampton! Bournemouth is similar.
