The Black Hand Victims

(I decided to post any victims that would be common news within Stormwind at the moment, considering all the bodies are found with our note on them)

-James Bridge - Stonemason

-Radke Assassinated within Stormwind, blade through chest. - Ex Leader of the Freelancers

- The Wickets families mother and child would be found dead in their house in Westfall.

-Maurice "Grand-pa" Stonefield - Old...man.

- Rachael Fay, Human Battle-mage "Set on fire within the Darkmoon Faire cannon, which then fired; rained down over the Faire in heaps of molten metal and burning flesh."

- Meghan Anderson, Stormwind citizen

-Ithiannia - Elf hunter.
Had her life force sucked out, all pale-ish, and hair lost it's color, have a nail penetrated her heart with a note from the black hand on. died in the park near the cemetary, in Stormwind.

-Thania Thompson fell from the sky, her frozen form shattering into a thousand pieces as she hit the ground just outside the Mage Tower in Stormwind. What little remained of real evidence showed her frozen and broken face, contorted and twisted with fear and agony, a Night Watch badge with the name 'Thania Thompson' engraved in it, and a piece of parchment with a delicately drawn hand, clutching a human heart.

-Shanore Mandano, a Druidess who just returned from the battles of Hyjal died by suffocation - damn this dark magic! A note with a black hand holding a human heart was found stuffed into a healed wound by her upper chest.

-Mirillia Riversong - Priestess in Arathorian service has been found frozen, eyes in agony and fear, hands joined in prayer on the roads of Westfall marked with the note of the Black hand squeezing a human heart.

-Clegan Varl -A dead man was found in Elwynn forest, very little resistance is shown with a clear cut in the back of his neck sliding down into his back.

-Sarnissia Nessian - Anethionean faithful. Was given to the present Anethioneans in the Abbey, suffocated to death and with several bleeding wounds.

-Denise and Caren Daniels: grandmother and granddaughter, Anethioneans on a pilgrimage through Duskwood. Left beside the Northshire Abbey, carefully laid out, arms folded across their chests, looking quite peaceful despite the head of one being detached and laid back against the body.

One is killed by a deep puncture wound to the temple, the other, beheading. Both had the Mark of the Black Hand neatly folded into their mouths. The Anethionean cross is missing from the beheaded corpse.

-Vicki and Tamara Niles, young twins, was found dead behind the Abbey in Northshire.

They were in a kneeling position, joints burn in place to keep them uptight, hands stretched forward in a begging position. Their hands burned black. In the hands were a note with a black hand squeezing a human heart. Ironically a heart was placed on each note in the hands.

On their chest is a cross burned down, and there is a hole where the heart should have been, freshly bleeding. One have their eyes burned out, the second the tongue. Faint shadow magic can be sensed from around the legs.

One of them was carrying the Anethion cross.

Chriselda Dawkins, shadowmage. Killed and burnt in Duskwood, nothing left to be found.

The Lord Astonius Beltazar has been slain, found on his holiday estate in westfall, his head decapitated with a nail pierced this his skull, a note with a black hand holding a human heart emblazoned upon it, the estate was a gorehouse, guards lay strewn in mangles of flesh and blood where they fell, and the workers lay scattered throughout the farm stead, one of them laying with both legs torn off, his lower jaw missing. Four knights are seen laying dead around their lord, fighting bravely to the end, or so the rumors say, and within the estate was the priest, his left arm severed off and a large pool of blood running out from his eyes, ears and mouth.

Simon "Merekh" Shore, Giles Norwich:
Both killed in Duskwood, corpses badly burnt and mutilated, cut and savaged, as if by a fight blade-to-blade and then thrown away by an explosion.
Giles's head was removed, and his heart; the Mark of the Black Hand left in Giles's empty chest cavity and Simon's clenched hand.

Robertiro Palmore, Regiment guard, killed in combat on the bridge between Old town and the Dwarven district with a stab of a massive sword through the gut.

Arnold Johnson, a hunter with his two dogs were found dead east of the cathedral, a rough drawing made in oil burning around him. A fist holding a heart. The body of the man being the heart. He was pierced thought the chest.

Draenei paladin Arkuurn, found laying on the road in elwynn forest, a clean strike through the lower armpit. His eyes closed and arms folded across his chest, weapon laying over them. A note of a black hand grasping a human heart held within his right hand.

Samantha Green, a priestess working in the Stormwind Regiment, mother of two, was found dead right outside the command centre in Stormwind, dropped from a considerate hight.

The Stormwind Regiment Sgt. Nevarda Marianna was left on the very stairs of the Cathedral, body injured in various places but the fatal blow being a massive blade wound to the throat. It is said that a message of some kind was left along with the standard Black Hand mark. It is unknown if the victim was -truly- Nevarda, however, as she (or an imposter?) has since returned to duty...

It is said that Ilyanain Cassel rode alone to Duskwood upon the death of Nevarda Marianna--perhaps for revenge, or to end his own life. His body was returned, a few slashes over his body--but no real visible fatal injuries. His expression was quite peaceful, his skin pale and very cold, almost as if he had been frozen... perhaps heart-first.

Doomsayer Ivana Lorestrange's Unidentifiable Corpse:
One of the ruined buildings at Raven Hill would be badly burned, with a charred corpse--burnt to the point of unidentifiability--lying in a pyrelike construction in the rubble of the upper floor.
Anyone knowing Doomsayer Ivana Lorestrange, by any name, may note her absence.

Larnira Darkmist - Head and shoulder smashed, chest impaled. Burned. No corpse to be found.

Rheina Motisi - Head smashed to the unrecognisable, then dropped from a great height unto Cathedral square. In her hand a note with a Black Hand.

Venelia Grey was dumped in Lakeshire, Redridge. Her right hand has been sliced of cleanly along with her head. Also stab wounds entering her feet and digging up to her legs.

"Eve Spiker" - Found just outside the Stormwind gates. Found in a crucified position, nailed onto a tree, a black arrow through each elbow, hand, knee and foot. The last black arrow through her heart, a [Marked Note] attached to it. Ferocious bitewound on her left shoulder, appearantly a rabid dog. Signs of plague in the shoulderwound.

Roy Ashford - Stab to back, sliced throat.

Isera Song - Appears to have fallen from the balcony near the Slaughtered Lamb, except that her Stormwind guidebook had the Mage Quarter entry marked with a Black Hand mark...

(The Chapter knows only about 2marks, the one on Radke and the one with Feral, Hmm can't wait to poke around this more, Later, could you tell me where were the bodies found (if they were that is)... Keep on the good work, and be ready to cry in fear when you are on a pyre ^^ )

Lol, some of those quotes are fitting yeah, I especially enjoyed the random death noises, also Feral never got marked, just had a note left on him (Cultist ritual nonesense) And you can try Morgaan!

Feral has met the Black Hand twice now, the second a carefully-planned kidnap/torture follow-up to the first encounter, and a pretty brilliant "ensnare the nice dog" plot. It was really, truly scary, but his fellow Blades mounted a quick rescue. At this point he is seeing and hearing things (are they real?), plagued by fear of the lead Hand, and is a point of contention in an inter-cult plot (I have no idea why) that apparently caused a fight to the death last night.

I knew Feral attracted nice people. I did not know that cultists would find him so damn fascinating, nor why they do...

The ancient night elf sentinel Silshira did not return from her most recent Duskwood patrol. Her nightsaber mount returned alone and was found wandering Elwynn Forest, still bearing spare weaponry latched to his armor.

Tracking the cat back or searching Duskwood (a foolish endeavor, to be sure) would lead to western Brightwood Grove, and would provide only a hint of what transpired: rotted and torn patches of earth, the mark of an enormous axe slashed deep into a large tree, an axe-gash in blood-thickened dirt, and the ever-present taint of Shadow upon the ground. No corpse, however, was delivered, nor left to be found.

Jennifer Thompson.
No visible cause of death, but many broken bones from a long fall post-mortem, with undead flesh beneath torn fingernails, and the lower end of her dress stained with river water.
She was a Westfall peasant who had been seen handing out leaflets on the Light.
