I dont mind people posting about my character, and as i said earlier i quite liked the effort put into the post.

I do mind people hiding behind false names, posting as characters that dont exist simply to further their own little bias agenda's.

So bring on the abuse, I welcome it. Just have the courage to do it openly as yourselves on these forums, You may even find i pat you on the back. But this? This can lead down some dark roads.

If you play Seiken as a bad ass, no-nonsense leader who makes the tough decisions then he's bound to step on some toes. In the same way like King Varian does. Of course there's an IC political agenda behind this, kinda like Game of Thrones. They're not slandering *you* the person behind the screen however.

I do see Seiken's point in the matter - if the writer was concealing himself on purpose and DOES know of the character, fair enough. But if they made a secondary character just to slate one their other character doesn't like then that feels sorta OOC to IC from the OP.

It was still a fun read, none the less.

Its hiding behind false names i despise. If the original poster had made the post under their true name, stating at the start that ...

"Mister so and so decided to get this printed under the fake name of... 'bla bla' as to ensure nobody traced it back to them and instead the blame was on..."

...I wouldnt of minded, and would of given it a full and proper reaction IC as it deserved, from the effort it took to make. Theres no purpose behind a false name, its sinister down to the core and utterly pointless.

If you don't reveal who you are OOCly, you just avoid giving people the chance to metagame. Not even intentional metagaming, but it allows someone to have to figure it all out ICly, which can be fun. Very fun.
