Latest fiscal reports were fairly positive, so I don't see them going offline anytime soon thankfully.

Ah, that's good to hear...and well, when something like Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is still kicking about, I guess The Secret World has a good chance to last for another few years.

Also...my personal PS3 usage isn't looking too hot after The Last of Us. No interesting games coming out 'till september, damned. Guess it's pc-gaming for me 'till then! Or well, might still buy that Jak & Daxter HD collection at least...

I love the secret world but my build is shit.
I am such a glass cannon. I quite a bit of damage but whenever my dodge is on cooldown I die.

All I can really reccomend without knowing what your build actually is, is to get a tanky health talisman or two and invest some AP points in Lick Your Wounds (Fist Tree) and Immortal Spirit (Blade Tree, penetrate based). The HoTs aren't that much, but every little tick to keep you in the fight longer helps.
Alternatively, if you're going Blades, Martial Discipline & Regeneration were a lifesaver for me so often while leveling through the zones.

Which server are you two on, btw?

Sadly I am yet to play 4 as I have an Xbox not PS3, there are rumours this guy aint even Big Boss. Could be why he is not Hayter.

Started playing the Star Wars Galaxies Pre-CU Emulator again (swgemu.com) and its fucking great. Finally the server is set up as a real server where you have to progress through the game properly. I'd recommend any old players to try it out

Picked up a game again which i've bought on steam since ages ago. Though playind a sort of moded version of Red Orchestra Ostfront which is actually a standalone that ya get free on steam besides the original, more in the Normany setting.

I love the fun and realism in it, plus always have been a ww2 fanatic.

Not that many players anymore though sadly, but enough to fill up a 70 player server, and a few servers, but it's well enough.

Rockstar themselves apparently said, that it should be PS3 footage. Still sceptic, but of course GTA IV was already release over five (whoa) years ago, so they probably have managed to squeeze-out a little more horsepower out from PS3/360 at this point. Certainly won't mind if that's the case...and heck, I think I still take a clunky GTA game over many others. PS3 version of IV with it's framerate was also a piece of heaven for me, when compared the lackluster pc-version, that nearly made my PC explode.

Since then, Rockstar North's port of Max Payne 3 was really good though, so hopefully they won't fuck up porting V as much as they did with IV.

One of the best games I've played in recent years has come to PC. Castlevania games have always been great fun; this one blew the others away for me. The story, characters, enemies, combat, musical score... Just everything!

Too bad I watched a semi-walkthrough of that somewhat recently, could've otherwise thought about buying it. Or well, come next Steam sale and we'll see...

The console version of that ran just so badly at times, that even I couldn't handle it too long before just throwing it aside.
