THQ sale ended today, the company will cease to exist in a couple of weeks, suffice to say that it's one of the few publishers I'll actually miss. Results;

Studios:

SEGA bought Company of Heroes developer Relic for $26.6 million. Zenimax (Bethesda) bid $26.3 million.
Koch Media (Dead Island) bought Saints Row developer Volition for $23 million. Ubisoft bid $5.4 million.
Ubisoft bought new studio THQ Montreal for $2.5 million. No other bids.
Darksiders developer Vigil did not find a buyer at this time.

Properties

Crysis developer Crytek purchased Homefront for $500,000. No other bids.
Koch Media purchased Metro property for $5.8 million. Ubisoft bid $5.175 million.
Ubisoft bought South Park rights for $3.2 million. No other bids.
Publisher Take 2 purchased new Evolve property for $11 million. Developer Turtle Rock Studios bid $250,000.

No idea what happened with the Warhammer liscense, suppose we'll hear soon enough.

Well, seeing as Relic went to Sega I'd say there's a fairly high chance of further 40k games.

See: Creative Assembly (owned by Sega) currently making a Warhammer Fantasy game.

I can definitely live with waiting as well. I'd much rather have a finished and polished game than a broken glitchy one. Rockstar usually delivers in this aspect.

Apart from the occasional car that y'know... falls through the road and the world. Then gets back to the road and explodes.

I loved you, glitchy GTA IV.

It's on the backburner, that much we know. It probably won't be out for years (if ever). CCP are focusing on DUST atm.

Well, that's not quite true. Senior Producer Chris McDonough tweets quite often about tests. 3 weeks intensive testing ended just yesterday. It won't be too long until we see it.

The Witcher should be up there with Elder Scrolls/Mass Effect in terms of an RPG. The second one was beyond brilliant and it would be a world I'd drop WoW to rp in.

Considering I've never been big into Halo... (Never played the SP, and found the MP boring). If it comes to PC I might check it out.

I somehow seem to recall, that there were talks about Blizzard's Titan being a "MMO" FPS at some point. Might just be my foggy memory and/or false rumours.

Anyhoo, pre-ordered Heart of Swarm CE just recently. Haven't bought a new pc-exclusive game since...Diablo 3, I think. If not counting for MoP. Good thing I'm not limiting myself to one platform or to "PC Master Racing"...

And of course, the thug life.

It's a very interesting server, with 400 to 450 players online at peak hours.
Usually takes about a day to get through applications upon joining, since they come down on every single little minor fault in an application, but it's pretty effective shielding against trolls and general pricks.
