I intend to be there on Omanos. Apologies if I appear a little late.

Dont take it out of its context. I was refering to the prosecutor for the evening not the trial itself... there's no need to be OOC worried anyhow, it's RP... the outcome could be whatevs but it's still the climax/aftermath of a plotline.Monrena wrote:Braiden wrote:It's fix'd... you'll just have to see tonight

Jeepers creepers mon, chillax already. Deli burning at the pire would be a pretty fitting end for her. She's going to die one day anyway, may as well be by anethian flame >:D

I can think of better flames. You know like, any other flame than the Chapterian's flames.
But Deli burning on a pyre was interesting to the mind.

Re: [A] Trial: The necromancers "helpers" (preliminary date/time)
Would this be the right place to wait for an OOC lashing?
I've been bombarded with /w after the event and to be honest it's a bit much, i find it hard to keep up. If anyone has concerns that what happoned wasn't played according to character, this would be a good place to voice that opinion.

I'm more concerned that the already defined maximum punishments do not appear to be the ones getting issued to the people on trial.

That was under the condition that they turned themselves in peacefully as I understood it, Exa agreed to that IC too and she was the one that made the deal. Regiment stated they didnt turn themselves in peacefully hence punishments where harsher.

Una's surrendered. But braiden argued that since he is dead, being lashed is not harsher than being put to work.
Tuom has surrendered. He got his max punishment. (right hand chopped off)
Delidah has not surrendered, so the deal didn't apply.

There's no punishment scale made out... what's harsher or not is difficult to tell. Plus Tuomas hand was already supposed to be off... the regiment just hadnt administered it last time.

I hate how there is always an extremely vocal group of 'white-knights' (seemingly teleported from earth with a 2012 mindset to Azeroth) that speak out against Stormwind justice and law just because its their friend, or someone they RP with, being punished.
But thats nothing new in these kind of trials at all, really.

If life gives you lemons make lemonade... there was much contempt of court punishments to be had.

"harsher" is a pretty hefty understatement.
Went from forced labor to the removal of hands, as far as I've been told.
