Trial of the Red Blossoms

Every seven seasons, the sacred trees of our monastery grow blossoms of a fiery red. That is our sign to begin the trials. It is the gauntlet of pain and rigor required for all of those wishing to enter into our order. The test kills most who submit to it. It certainly tortures all who would be Shado-pan.

Greetings!

If you have any interest in the Shado-pan whatsoever, this recently released short story cannot have escaped your notice. Since the Blooming Lotus has always had well-hidden dark roots within the Shado-pan, we have decided to organise one such trial next monday the 25th of February at 20:00 in the evening, just in time to get ready for the arrival of the Thunder King on the 27th.

We will follow the spirit of the short story closely. This event will be a terrible trial held for any initiates seeking to enter the Shado-pan and earn the right to wear the white scarf of the acolytes. An essential part of these trials, as the name indicates, lies in the mortality rate. Now, the player character are always in any game the chosen few destined to pass trough any hardships alive, but we will need some red shirts as fodder to throw on the sacrifical fire. We would like this to be mostly players playing expandable pandaren characters, likely to only have been rolled for this event (or altered to be a different character trough clever use of role-playing addons and costume switches), to die horrible deaths.

Besides the fodder, this is also the opportunity for any 'serious' character to properly join the Shado-pan trough the official means. These trials aren't held every week, so if you're interested in playing a Shado-pan novice, this would be the opportune place to start.

Aye, we will.

Sadly you can't -be- summoned on a Pandaren character untill you choose your faction.

Shouldn't be a lot of trouble to level a pandaren to level 10.

Does it have to be a monk, or is any class welcome?

Any class is welcome. A variety of classes is encouraged, even. The bigger the variety, the more lively the event will be.

Bugger, just recently deleted my panda to turn him into an orc. Would have been fun to show up as a redshirt guy.

Due to a scheduling conflict I will either have to move this event back to Sunday or have somebody else take my place in organising it.

Is there anyone from the people interested here that wouldn't be able to attend on Sunday?

We decided not to go ahead with the event and went off to fight trolls and saurok instead. Good times were had, just not these times.
