The Villain Stormwind deserves

Holy shit, man, chill out and stop making such stupid assumptions. I wasn't discussing what makes a good criminal.

Ahhh the ego-tism of Stormwind RP prevails.

I like how all evil Dark lords and masterminds happen to be based in the same city, regions, and hideouts... following no new or original plots/goals these days.

Perhaps those with designs on such a 'position' should go a bit further afield? Stormwind deserves a bad guy who doesnt work around an Area code or lurks in Duskwood like every other Smuck.

I hear Felwood, silithus, the bad lands, outland, desolace and Northrend and the twilight highlands apparently have quite a nice 'evil' feel here and there.

Stormwind deserves a Bad guy that gives them something that strikes more Terror and Fear into any other Roleplayer than anything else...

Krogon got a point here. Last year The Hand of Nightmare took over Redridge (or just tried to?) in order to create their own "evil empire" for example. It could even work somewhere farther with a good organization.

Dunno if an evul guy would strike fear into Stormwind citizens if he was as far away as Outland though.

Actually it would, every end boss we've faced in the last 7 years was hidden somewhere really far

Also, lurking a certain zone doesn't mean you can't send your minions at every corner of the Eastern Kingdoms to murder, pillage and so on.

Not necessarily; VanCleef himself didn't live inside Stormwind but hidden in a gold mine in Westfall, and his men could be found almost everywhere in the Kingdom of Stormwind (even in Dustwallow Marsh, kidnapping Varian himself). And so many other factions, organizations or whatever.

Oh yeah Kalimdor is fine, Outland just seems aalot farther away. Northrend could work pretty well aswell.

Whoop, Quin strikes again, sure gnomes can be proper evil and all that lot, i just personally have a problem taking it serious. And whats more so bothersome is that people jumps in here going "i am evil, accept me as evil, fear me for i am evil" While youve never seen or heard of the person before. That is my problem and the person just happened to be a gnome. And if you're trying to mention characters of mine, the ones or one you hint at, isn't even evil.

No, but she is RPed badly, if at all. And this useless argument spiralled down into you stating all evil gnomes of the past RPed their character badly. This doesn't, however, mean Darquenesse is going to follow in that tradition. In fact, if you had paid any attention IC, you'd know she's trying very hard to make a name for herself IC whilst some of us keep on wasting their time on dull forums, discussing pointless topics rather then to have fun RPing.

I really dont want to be the one to step forwards here and be the one to say "fear me i'm evil", but Shakiri is a cunning woman who has evil plans, and has been holed up in the Slaughtered Lamb for quite some time (the whole leaving the game etc not withstanding). She does not openly admit to her evilness, but has big plans and attempts to remain under the radar at all times. Very few people these days have met her IC and known her true side. So recognition is somewhat out the window, for the most part.

That said, im not having her as the big bad well known evil boss that everyone on the Alliance side is going to hunt for. Incognito is the aim of the game.

On a side note, i am trying to base her slightly on Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs". So expect to be messed around.

Ave personally is rped, beginning to be quite often even, but i've only gotten the impression she's rped badly from people who doesn't know her story or has a problem with me personally, but enough of that.

I might have explained something badly but i never said the rpers were bad at all or they were rped badly, there were evil gnomes rped really well, -i- just personally have a problem with gnomes and thats that, but for rps sake i will take it serious should it come to that, also being in charge of Si:7 now it is a must to be open to all potential evil, i apologise if anyone misunderstood or took offence.

Have any of you met Darquenesse in character yet? He came into the Dreadhowl Den and said "Hey I use Shadow Magic, *pew pew* Is it illegal to kill people because you want your name known? *pew pew* Oh, well I've just killed three people for no reason. Seeya!!!" *runs off* --- How is this the 'Villain Stormwind needs'?

My advice here is you're looking for the wrong thing. One person or a 'villain' isn't what we need. We need a whole guild. Why would one person last the long run? They'd be roflstomped the moment they try anything. Now look at guilds like the Dark Sphere, Eyes of the Dark Realm, Vortex. They didn't last the long run, but they are along the lines of what we need. One person can't do shit with so many white knights about. A guild can.

Now I know Lex is going to butt in and say the Shroud. I personally think the Shroud aren't cut out for this. They're too obvious. It's been done to death by now and the Guild was founded as a Neutral Death Knight guild, so it's roots being in the Ebon Hold and Stormwind only made sense then, now that you're all going emo/angry Death Knight monster guild (Like every other Death Knight guild) being in those two places doesn't. Yet I still see it happen. If you want to be evil and obvious, prepare to face sacrifices in your roleplay. Like.. I'm talking never roleplaying with anyone who has the power to oppose/kill you :p Never going to a city or highly populated town. That sort of thing.

Plus, aren't the Chapter being a bit 'questionable' as of late? I'm also getting tired of being trying to be Voldemort because they think it's cool. Stop making your character with the intention of this, make them as normal people and let roleplay decide.

Eotdr and Vortex didn't last long due to some ooc issues, Helmy. And TDS...I think it's safe to say they were the longest standing cult guild world wide.

But all in all, lock thread, delete thread and have patience people.

Yeah. Evil lies in power, not just Shadow/Fel. The Chapter have power to make your characters lives a misery, or even worse. Don't rule out guilds you may perceive as 'good'. Yeah we're lawful but a lot of the time those laws we abide by are our own, not Stormwinds. We are good allies of the Regiment, is that a coincidence or forsahdowing something that may be coming? Just look at who our biggest grudge is currently too. The Disciples, who represent the Church.
