Since it's a Masquerade do arathorians really have to wear masks?

Your faces aren't that ugly!
But really, masks are optional. I've just wanted to do a masquerade ball for ages, despite it being rather impractical in game item-wise.

Eheh... um... think maybe Monrena had better remain a guest *pats*
As for the rest, additionally, if anyone fancies showcasing their talent as a musician or dancer - some small sort of entertainment that would be suitable for a fancy occasion - I'd be happy to work something out.

I will be there either way, but I would love it if Delidah got hired to run the bar IC. It is feasable that she has a reputation by now, having worked at the Recluse and now the Whistle

You can always come as either Drustai or Thelos' entourage. I think both were actually invited as "Prominent members of society", as the calendar invite says!
You might be horribly dissapointed by Thelos' lack of etiquette or dress sense, though.
Prominent indeed!
Looking forward to this. I love putting Thelos in awkward positions.

Re: The Aislinghall Masquerade Ball (March 3)
Suggestion for people unsure about the whole 'masquerade' gig -- if you don't feel like making up a mask and emoting it all the time, you could always just theme your costume. Nothing daft, of course (this isn't the Blade), but nothing wrong with, say, wearing armour akin to your favourite hero of old.
