Yeeeees... About that.Grek'thar/Takarius wrote:This Sunday? Awww! Pooey! *shakes fist in the air, then stops for a minute* wait...the event -starts- on sunday...does it continue on into the rest of the week? /peer
It shall be "starting" on sunday, I believe the tribe will be arriving during the day, the meeting we'll be having will cover quite a few issues, dates travel arrangemnts, etc. But also, the involvement of the Fosaken, provided talks go well, we shall be dispatching a very enthusiastic messenger who may be able to tolerate the lands of the dead more so than a regular delegation. We'll also be discussing future plans and relations.
Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to this!

The meeting went well... aside a VERY rocky start due to lolers.
Sadly in all my typing I forgot to take other pictures. This does'nt quite do what happened justice.
All the same it was great fun, hopefully I didnt bore everyone with my speech, but in anycase I would love to thank EVERYONE for coming.
Phase two is now completed, now begins IC preparations for phase three.
The great journey.

The great journey where a herd of Tauren of different sizes will walk the path of the walking corpses and into the land of Glittery Elves. AND... We're walking! No fancy steeds but pure HOOVES!!!

Oke here comes some more screenshots from yesterday.
On our way to wait for the orcs we stumble upon trolls from the Darkspear tribe.
We walk over to the edge and see if we can see them approaching.
As they approached we walk to the elavators to greet them.
Here we are standing on the Elder rise in the big tent around the fire while Sonitus goes trought why he summoend us all... True story.
That was it! Sadly didnt get any epic picture.. to busy reading what was happening.

Right then chums and chumettes...
Due to the unpredicatability of real life...
I will be AWAY from WoW all of thursday, however I should be back friday.
And that ladies and gents is the night/day we set out from Thunder Bluff!
Heres the schedule:
Friday: caravan leaves for Silvermoon arriving late at night (if we set off during the day) or Saturday (if we leave in the evening).
Saturday: we arrive in full and begin investigations/RP, (I personally need to find a blind Belf to deliver a letter and parcel from her sister). In the evenin' we'll begin the Event itself, HOWEVER...
Sunday: ...should consensus arise that too many people are busy saturday night... Sunday day or evening shall suffice, if however things go to plan saturday this'll just be a random RP/taster day for many RPers in SMC with various other Horde characters (originally intended to be the day we all return home until I saw Aishlings event).
Edit:
Monday: hook up with Aishlings event after which the respective members take leave of thier own will. We say our goodbyes and head our separate ways... But who knows what will follow?

So the entire trip back and forth to Silvermoon will be four days? Hope you can squeeze everything necessary in there, then. Anyway, I've set up a camp fire night for my guild on Thursday eve, for those remaining in Thunder Bluff. Anyone else is free to come, too.
Re: [H] Event proposal: The Dead Scar (Banner of the Bloodhoof and others(?)).
Well, I can move my event to Sunday as well, might be a good idea... However, I have no idea at what time I will be online as I have to make a 3 to 4 hour travel home that day as well...

Made a quick edit to monday!
No need to move your own event Aishling, we need a day or so of chilling anyway, I want this event to be active but not cramped.
Hope it doesn't sound like too much Koz, but I plan to let it be quite freeform, the times themselves are for main events, anything else can follow in between, the prevailing idea is to be as "IC as possible".

Right then!
I'm back on WoW tonight, and I'm home earlier than expected...
However, I've been surprised drafted to do a spot of babysitting. Tonight.
Have no fear though! The Journey takes place tonight with the Horde gathering in Thunder Bluff and making our way to undercity and beyond. Dependant on OOC precence though (and this may be a shame, but necessary) we might just fly and meet seperatly at UC.
time for us all to meet is 9:00 PM server time, with the Journey itself setting out at 9:15!
See you there.

Here are some picture from last night event.
So we started our journey from Thunderbluff. You can say the boat was crowded...
When we arrived at Undercity we gathered up the kodos and started to walk towards Quel'Thalas.
And it all went well until we started to spot Scourge who followde us and ambushed us at a pass.
When we were all gathered again (we had good fighters) we contiuned towards Ghostlands where we were met by Ambassador Aishling and friends. (they are tiny you can barely see them in the picture tho). We wnded up camping next to the river just before you pass into Quel'Thalas, listening to stories by the fire and some lovely orc poetry.
Thanks guys for an awsome night. Will be fun to see what tonight has in storage.

Re: [H] Event proposal: The Dead Scar (Banner of the Bloodhoof and others(?)).
The event is officially over now (sorry for the late posting)!
We had our venture through the Plaguelands and had some ambushes from the "Scourge", great fun. All of it!
Thanks for your help guys and gals from the Shroud!
A quick picture from the Bulwark, leaving Tirisfal...
Continuing from Nims pictures!
Told a story about the Coyote's of the plains myself, after which a goblin, Lootciano, told us a story of his own, Sadok also shared a poem with us and it was pretty awesome and very... moving.
And the event itself.
There were a few delays, and sadly some people DCed or had to go while it was in progress, though I didnt quite capture everyone there in this shot.
I sadly forgot to grab some screenshots of arriving IN the city, but we were met by house Whiteblood and Sin Belore.
In the end, the gathered Druids and Shamans tried to make contact with the spirits, but after several unsuccessful attempts, many warriors pitched in to break through the soiled ground to reach the cleaner earth and through it the elements, to give nature a foothold within the Scar.
Unfortunatly to heal the whole scar would require an army... but we've set up a patch, that will in time grow, and from it cover over and restore what had been stripped away unjustly.
Im sorry to those who were unable to make it, DC'ed or otherwise. However... I want to say an IMMENSE thank you to the Orcs of the Red Blade, the Darkspear trolls and more... this was great fun, but I realise there was a lot of work to be done. This was my first inter-guild event on a large scale, and it was more than pleasent.
Im looking forward to further relations with everyone. We'll occasionally trickle back to check up on our work in the Scar from time to time, but only small scale. Meanwhile, I'll need to start throwing ideas about for another event methinks, and now with some experience behind me... let's see.

Sorry Grek, that was when I had to AFK to deal with night terrors.
Sucks I had to miss it... What was it about?
...Also hope I didn't miss anyone else in the time I was away...
