What are we?

We are the Banner of the Bloodhoof, a collection of Tauren from all across the Tribes under one Banner that seek to represent the Tauren community and forward Tauren role play on the Defias Brotherhood Server. In terms of the Lore of the guild, we have been many different organizations before finally settling on a Tribe, in a format akin to Tauren situation of all tribes combined.

Why 'banner' and now <Name> Tribe?

While the name of the guild is the Banner of the Bloodhoof, we are a tribe under a Chieftain. While there is no official tribe name, the name of the guild reflects the purpose of the guild, like the Tribes gathering under Carine, and now Baine, we all fight for the Bloodhoof cause, we are a collection of all tribes, all tauren.

What is your goal?

The goal of the Banner is to bring together as many Tauren role players as possible and to reflect the entirety of Tauren society, akin to the many great racial guilds of the server, we strive to stand among them in terms of what makes the server great. As a guild we develop together and we give those who wish to role play traditional tauren a chance to develop their characters.

Who can join and how do I apply?

The Banner is open to only Tauren, however this includes all classes, (yes, even Death Knights.) And Grimtotem. If you are a taboo, you'll have to prove yourself in-character to earn the trust of your fellow bannermen but we won't deny you based on a class or clan choice. You can apply to the guild by contacting -anyone- in the Banner who can either pass you on, or answer your query. There is no formal application process, no need to give us your character's life story, we are about development. Once in the guild, we'll arrange a series of role playing sessions where we can see if you are able to fit into the guild, and I am sure you can! If you are new to role play, please don't be intimidated. We actively encourage those new to role play to join so instead of shunning you, we can help you become an awesome rper!

Been try tempted to do a tauren but I'm rather bad with the lore in this area :S . Would have to be a shammy. My last char slot. Might have to poke you or son some time soon.

A lot of our members have come to the guild for the purpose of learning the lore, we very regularly discuss it in the guild chat and help those who have questions get answers! I encourage anyone who would want to learn about the Shu'Halo to come and learn it first hand!
