As I require a form of tutor for my Kumeh in Sunwalkerness.
By tutor, I mean someone to poke her in the right direction, smack her on the nose when she misbehaves, and generally teach her how to further her path in healing with An'she's power.

As a note of interest...
We ARE seeking a Chief Sunwalker (officer)
Idea is to remain true to being a Tauren and also to teach those seeking you about they're respective field, as we're still in the process of bringing Tauren RP back up proper we're hoping to have someone equally enthused about this face of the community as we are.
If anyone is interested contact myself, Kurn or Noko.

Our first Rite night is coming up this week, led by Kurn Ragetotem! He shall be showing us the Tauren Rite of Strength.
Message us in game or join Tauren RP to learn more, such as times. For those interested, but unsure about Tauren RP I really recommend coming to see this, you'll have a chance to see some of our spirituality at work, as well as learn more about us.

Would it be feasable to come watch on, say, a blood elf, or would you prefer people to roll a lvl1 if they just want to watch?

Hmm, without sounding like too much of a hardass...Delidah wrote:Would it be feasable to come watch on, say, a blood elf, or would you prefer people to roll a lvl1 if they just want to watch?
Yes, you could come on a Blood Elf but due to deeply rooted Tauren tradition it's possible that an elf may be asked away.
Considering we'll be doing the Rifes in Taurahe, outsiders may find it difficult to keep up in anycase.
So alts may be preferred, from a language and spiritual standpoint.
Also I love your new picture Deli!

Re: [H-RP] Banner of the Bloodhoof - Tauren Guild
I meant to put these up a few days ago but I .. Forgot. Here are a few screenshots, taken by the lovely Sonitus, from the Rite of Vision on Tuseday. Was a great turnout and a really fun event Thanks to all that came and made it great for me
In the caves, talking before entering the spirit world.
In spirit form. We were all in ghost form apart from me, who was a wolf, to add that extra asthetic effect.
And finally, we inspected a corrupted Moonwell, to see how fel magic affects the Spirit world.

Re: [H-RP] Banner of the Bloodhoof - Tauren Guild
First I have a big backlog of pictures!
We decided to take an IC trip to Darkmoon Island... wont lie, I was skeptical at first, but it's a lot of fun to be there and wholly perplexed at the place. Started with us wandering why the camp was there and then the Portal... and from there we tried some of the games, but some of the more hot blooded found sacks of hay little good for sport.
I believe this was a lesson dedicated to understanding the mind and idea of a Stormcrow, I believe we were teaching Maaruh her first flight form.
Said hello to the Marauders by tending to the wounded and such after thier shipwreck.
And today... it's been hectic. First Shrika came round... but not for long (she got dangled off a bridge)! Then the Shatterskull ambassadors came over to say hello.
Our new Goblin allies, the Ironboot MPG.
And finally to top it all off... Thygore took a hit of Fel fire from a crazed Shrika, when he felt a bit better a wild Undead appeared.
Naturally we were rather suspicious... but this polite undead unrolled a little scrap of paper and asked for a "Sonitus, Noko or Kurn", upon answering... the undead replied "Good evening Sonitus of the Wildmanes. Im here to kill you."
Not gonna lie... t'was pretty shocking. At first there was some wandering if this gentle-corpse was a loler... but it became abundantly clear he was not messing around. In fact he was a pleasure to RP with, it was fantastically tense!
Our second confrotation with the Undead after Noko was badly injured. Managed to frighten him off with a bit of Moonfire after Aulvan heroically charged in to prove that shadow tendrils can suck an axe the size of a wind screen.
Friendly warning and recommendation... this Undead Shadow Priest is NOT a loler and is indeed a very competant Shadow roleplayer. He is unguilded and unamed as... let's face it... I dont want to spoil the fun.
IC he is quite powerful. Well able to bend and move through the shadows. Be wary should you encounter him, you'll be in for a hell of a fight against this classy undead.
So be on the look out, he may be after you next.

Re: [H-RP] Banner of the Bloodhoof - Tauren Guild
To all our fellow Tauren and Horde guilds.
To make you all aware, the Banner shall be undertaking some changes in regards to guild focus, rank systems and potentially even a name change. We are discussing this as a guild on Sunday, but will update either this thread or make a new thread to keep the server informed.
Tauren love!

Either, doesn't matter as long as it isn't a Druid ^^

Yeeeeaah, we're pretty heavy on the Druid front.
Funnily enough Shamans and Paladins need some more lovin'!
Adding more on Noko's post, we're also looking into the Tauren lexical field. Our hope being to encourage Tauren RPers to throw in a little Taurahe with thier speech. Ideally adding another layer of immersion, through phrases, affirmations and greetings. More ideas and concepts inc!

So, log on... dick around, get poked "Come to Ratchet"
A small lot of us make the trip down for a rather random encounter of RP (Who knew! It STILL EXISTS PEOPLE! RANDOM RP!)
Chatting away around a fire (A bit too many taurens to huddle inside really!)
When SUDDENLY:
AMG WE LOOK LIKE AN EASTER-EGG!
Happy Easter everyone! <3

Re: [H-RP] Banner of the Bloodhoof - Tauren Guild
Brace yourselves, changes are coming.
We're currently in the midst of restructuring the guild to match ourselves IC and OOC.
To come:
-Refurbished Guild ranks and lore behind them.
-Upcoming trip to Northrend in the works.
-Broader range of RP events with specific focuses for different characters (Shaman/Druid/warrior(etc)-centric events for example).
-Promoting random RP in Kalimdor (Thunder Bluff, Crossroads and Ratchet).
-Intergration of a path system to allow players to advance and feel a sense of accomplisment IC and OOC, hopefully to aid immersion and to give a player chance to develop thier character using one of the several paths we have.
-Hosting the next Horde Gathering this month in Thunder Bluff (Horde guilds and organisations meet in a host city for a change of scenery and RP).
-Possible name change.
-Taking part in WPvP such as World at War!
-Helping players willing to RP Tauren develop their characters.
-Guild raids/dungeons and arenas, we're also in talks with with a few other guilds about Rated Battlegrounds.
Stay tuned guys. There's more to come!

Definate name change, thank you.
Also, the guild is becoming more Nomadic, so while we will call Thunder Bluff a home, we shall be travelling much more around Azeroth.

Flumi the tauren. I don't know whether I should be excited or very, -very- frightened.
And the Banner are awesome! Haven't got a cow of my own, but I love whenever the Red Blades and Banner interact together. Two hooves up!
