Took I think two years for my parents to learn that most games classified as "online" you can't pause. They'll get there.
If nothing else, show them/have them play a bit. Most likely good for all parts.

I've been helping with the dishes every day since I was ten I think. I've cleared my own plate and eating accessories of the table since I was old enough to lift them. Teaches a lot.
But we've thankfully always had a dishwasher, so doing the dishes is the easiest part of cleaning the kitchen.
Generally every day after dinner I clean the stove an wipe the table.

Healthy to do, do it straight after you've finnished eating.
I would never agree to doing dishes if I hadn't been eating off the same food. Not even my dad when drunk would be stupid enough to try to get me to do it.

I also help with doing the laundry every weekend.

And Faralan, you should start helping around at home. Will make things so much easier for the day they won't be there.

Morther had us do all the houshold chorse once we were old enough to do those very chores.. started out as a favour.. the next week.. why havent you done em.. *begins being house slave till leaving home* sighs gardening i hated the most

I always do my own dishes, my own laundry, take turns to take out the trash, clean up my own room and I even pay some rent and a little piece of the Internet costs. Not always voluntarily but more to actually be helpfull and not to a burden, a extra weight for my parents who works hard everyday.

I live at home on my parents good graces. So I try to keep them happy and me living under a roof.
And well, it's common decency to help with the household in the place you live.
If you don't make the food, you help the the cleenup after, etc.

Ahh. If only my mother had such mutual arabgements. . For someone who never had a job on any level. She always saved us siblings all the housework for when we got home. Was not slowed to do any gaming on any level untill I fled the nest. I felt so dirty playing my first online game as a result.
