Raid is distinctly OOC. No offense to Monrena, but her character is not important enough to justify the entire group going IC in /raid

Since /e still works and /s is disabled, why not have Mon be sick with... I dunno, Draenei throat infection?
That way you can still emote and have reason to be quiet.

My yells only started being yells when people started justifying ignoring
beffor it was a quick rant it was just going to be that just a rant yes its my fault i forgot my dambed authentorcator I admit that, and im sorry but there were a couple of charicters who did have a reson to respond but diddn't if someone emotes everyone see's it.. therefore everyone is involved to some dagree therefore everyone can respond to some point so realy no reason to ic respond is bull a draenei who hasnt said a word on a long dangeourous walk with no armour and constantly coughing is very very unusual.. Not a single eyebrow raised im sorry but i dont take that no reason to respond ic.. realy its silly and as far a s its going
being ignored weather its intentional or not is still being ignored
think of it from my point of view.. I was doing my utmost best to be involved I did everything i could..and all i got was poor you in whispers from 3 out of 30 people so im sorry But.. there is never an excuse to be getting ignored..

In short i felt like the ebarassement child to the group I got no feeling of being welcomed or wanted.. and considering i was looking forward to this? I was very hurt and deeply upset yeah it started by me leaving behind my code thing yeah I got angry but i was left to think that, Nobody was willing to comunicate with me.. to the point i felt as if people wished i was not there So yeah I was hurt and upset by people I thought could have at least tried.. Only one tried Lust see it from my side of the fence please then you would understand my frustration and anger,..

All right let me just close up this particular discussion if it is all right with everyone?

I apoligize for giving you the feeling you were unwanted, Monrena, or ignored. That was not my intention, nor that of any of the roleplayers involved, I'm sure. The difficulty it is however is with, as Drustai mentioned, the torrent of emotes and white text makes it hard to single out particular emotes. I can assure you there wasn't any bad intentions involved, there was just a whole lot going on at once and it is hard to accomodate for everyone's wishes. For giving you the feeling you were not treated the way you should I apoligize.

That being said I am of the opinion that on a trial account where you can only communicate trough the standard, as in no costum, emotes, your roleplaying capabilities are limited to such a vast degree that you cannot really roleplay in any signifciant way that does not make your character look like...Well, a nutter, really. If all you can do is poke, nudge, laugh and cry, your options to communicate with others are so limited that your character will come across as a little crazy. Having no IC justification for said appearance of craziness beforehand besides the OOC justification, and given the ammount of other things going on, many including myself simply did not know how to deal with your presence or how to interact with you in a significant way that wouldn't be either insultive to you or OOC / Metagamey. We simply weren't prepared to properly deal with this right now. And frankly, with so many people attending, I'm not sure we've got the energy to properly cope. As Delidah said earlier, without /s or /e's, there really isn't much to roleplay with.

If you still intend on attending the rest of the event on that trial account, I highly suggest you prepare yourself for the reality of things; that you are extremely limited in your roleplay, and that others are extremely limited in their responses to you. One thing I can think of is that you ask of everyone you want to communicate with on a more signifcant level to add you to their friends list, so you can at least speak to them in whispers. I am sure myself, Delidah and Drustai will be willing to act as conducts, as in passing on the request you have that someone may add you to their friends list.

This is as accomodating as I can get right now. I'm terribly sorry of the tragic circumstances, but you have to understand that you cannot demand too much from other roleplayers to adapt to these circumstances either.

Having said all I can think of on this topic, I suggest we leave it to rest. If you have any further comments, Monrena, or anyone else for that matter, I request you send them in game or trough private messages.

Update:

Due to the likelihood of further attacks, we will be holding the second half of the event in Shattrath instead of Auchindoun.

The speaker for the memorial service will still be Drustai, with Thelos holding the closing speech before the feast. There are no other changes of plans or schedule besides this one.

That's a shame.

I enjoyed playing on the giant shroom while it lasted. I will definitely return there. Maybe Delidah and Monrena can make themselves a cozy home on that silly thing
