Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
Had the most epic experience in this game this morning.
I was walking (yes, walking. I don't fast travel or run, feels wrong) the road, minding my own business, on my way back to Faklkreath.
Suddenly I hear a distant roar. Down in crouch. Yep, something has noticed me. Bear? Sabertooth? Nope... can't see anything.
Odd. I look around some more. Nope. Nothing.
And then the sudden realisation hits me and I slowly crane my head up.
Oh.

I don't do that, atleast not yet. Need to expand my network of fast travels so I can start hunting the mysterious sky lights.

Yes, the UI / menus are stupid.
Yes, this game is amazing.
Installed this yesterday. Spent ages making a character I liked the look of. Choices and choices. Then I spent 3 hours wandering around after leaving the cave thing at the start. Haven't even made it near the place with thingy's sister.
Then I realised it was nearly 3am. And I had work in 5 hours.
:/
Edit: In a break from tradition I didn't go Bosmer (but nearly did). I'm a male Nord huntsman type. Or that's what I plan to be. Ranged and two handed axe. Maybe a smattering of alchemy.

- Spoiler:
- Talking of alchemy, I did get attacked by some witch (Anise?) for rooting through her cellar (fnar fnar). POOR ME.

I seem to have developed a freindly relationship with giants. Whenever a dragon turns up, a giant ALSO turns up and assists in killing it. Then we wave sticks at each other and go our seperate ways. It works out well, I get to nom dragon souls, they get keep their mammoths safe.
Everyone just leave their damn mammoths alone

Something I forgot to ask, my Nord Warrior Beorn got himself the last name/clan name/ family name "Ice-Blood", any idea if this is standard?

Guys...
"The level of a given dungeon is fixed the first time you enter it. Therefore, places that you enter early in the game will always contain relatively weak enemies, even if you return to the same dungeon at the end of the game."
I had a feeling this was this way, but if it really is this way.. then meh, seriously, meh. I would have prefered the Oblivion leveling system where a given dungeon levels alongside you.

I find it to be fine. There are SO MANY damn dungeons in this game that you won't find yourself backtracing to once cleared ones very early imo.
Level 38 now and yet to do any quests for Companions/Thieves/Mages/bards yadada, haven't even done main quest that much.
Very pleased by the amount of content.

Well, it lets me go back and be able to finish some of the dungeons

Home from work, Skyrim calls. I had to resist the urge to pull a sicky, I need to save up my monies for December!
Also, I hate companions! They're supposed to help me, not jump in front of my stealth attacks and die instantly.
My horse yet lives. Damn, I love her. Bought her from Solitude!

I think that some places have a fixed minimum level/max level.

That's true as well, but if I understood it correctly the mountains tend to hold more difficult things than the low grounds.

I run about with my horse, exploring. Praying for dragons. So I can pit my horse against them. I take off my hat to the dragon that brings that mare down.
