I wouldn't know, I haven't levelled magic AT ALL. I'm purely a one-handed ninja. Can't wait to make a start on my mage.

Putting the difficulty way high makes the game a lot more interesting! Enemies don't just run onto the end of your blade.

Yeah fuck magic. Sword and shield is all you need to cut down Stormcloaks.

Magic has improved so much since Oblivion, whereas melee combat still seems as floaty as ever. No doubt I will make a pure Warrior, Nygarth the Nord , but for now I'm content with doing everything as a Mage. Those racist Stormcloak bastards deserve a fireball up the arse.

I did have some issues at first with the idea of doing every faction on one character, but due to time issues and the new leveling system, I think you have to swallow the IC marysue issues with being the highest ranked in all these Guilds, and the Dovahkin and whatnot. (Yes, I said IC issues, I RP slightly in RPGs, sue me). Although as much as I will dabble in other pure classes or hybrids, I'm certain that making a new one every five seconds for different guilds isn't as viable as it was in Oblivion.

You're all missing the point! You can't combat our dual-wield because you won't even see us coming.

Also, I found a great way to kill dragons. The Shout for Marked for Death, Kill. It lowers their stats, etc. I tried it and knocked a massive chunk of dragon off with one sword strike.

They're like Pokémon. Dragon vs Dragon is super effective!

Have to say not being able to fight from a horse in the game is sorta disapointing. With how "free" the series generally tries to be.

As for what to use? DUAL SHIELDS BITCHES!

FYI, when I start playing I'll hve a left handed character for shits and giggles.

Mines all shiny, steel and runed.

I went with a Shield and sword guy, was fine until the dragon fight and I had no ranged!

If your not a caster, get a bow. Shame it seems to be the golden rule in this game for fighting dragons. -Although-, if you hide from them.. or keep dodging flames, they do land. And sometimes Dragons in the sky are just impossible to hit, spells and arrows don't go that high D:.

I don't see how anyone can go Imperial tbh with that prologue. And the choosing doors part was ridiculous. Are you gonna go with the friendly guy who just saved your life or the one who just tried to execute you for nothing?

And the fact that my nord takes getting executed like a bitch annoys me too. If it was up to me he'd be jumping off that cart as it was going towards Helgen and running through the woods while ducking from the archers...

There was a great level in operation flashpoint where you had to escape the soviets! Running into the woods going "Oh shit" whilst bullets wizzed past my head was the most fun!
