Guardian seemed overpowered to me in PvP. The amount of healing, protection and aid you give to your team is silly. You can stomp any team with one.

That was the general agreement after the first BWE, but I didn't play PvP in the second with which to draw conclusions about whether it had been improved.

They nerfed healing somewhat apparently, which makes sense as I felt slightly more squishy than usual.

This is what I noticed and this is why I hated them.
My necro took more hits than the average Guardian in the last beta >_<

That's not really relevant, necros are meant to be super tough.

Not really, they are a scholar archetype and therefore have less health and use light armour.
If a level 7 necro is taking more hits from a boss and surviving longer than a level 12 Guardian, that player either sucks or there is something wrong with the balancing.

Well, in the Anet blogs, they said they wanted Necro to be very hard to kill - in PvE and PvP. It has very potent life drain, and the death veil thing that I can't remember the name of gives them an effective boon of extra health to fall back on. That said, a level 12 guardian not taking hits from a boss that any level 7 can must be afk or blind.

I tanked the whole boss, the Guardian took a few hits and got downed, a thief ran in and didn't dodge anything.
So I tanked the boss whilst a ranger DPSed it.

Awesome news then. I'm going to work this summer for a new PC. I will enter a new era, from wow on 10 fps to gw2 on hopefully max settings ( =O )

And with that I am wondering, any news on spec requierments for GW2 yet..? Or any decent speculation on it?
