Vel, considering the -very- slim NDA the press closed BETA had... It can't be that harsh on what comes after.

I remember saying it somewhere on the signup that you can't tell your friends on facebook et cetera that you are in the Beta, nor any details. I assume that extends to more than just social networking.

How would they check that?

*Shrugs* I still wouldn't go talking about it. Though, point taken, they aren't going to scour every corner of the internet for someone saying 'I got into the GW2 Beta.'

Well, what ever the NDA is. Those who get in will find out what it is.

It's just that personally I don't see that big a point with the mass media beta they just did. There will be some NDA points, but I very much doubt it'll be the rock NDA that for example TOR had.

*Shrugs* I'm sure if you get in they give you a simplified version. Though I have no doubt you won't be able to say, for example:
Y'know, in the Charr starting zone, it turns out that the General is working for the enemy!

That's just an example, I actually have no idea if that's the plot of the Charr starting zone.

Those who signed up for the beta, what are the system reqs? Or didn't you get to see them?...

Not sure, but Anet have been purpose building the game to be as generous with specs as possible.

I've read that Anet said that when you can run gw1 you can run gw2 on low settings or what ever. Though this was no official information.

... It'd be much more generous if they had made it for osX *cry*

I think everyone got the email as a confirmation process "YEs, you have signed up for the beta. Know that we knwo that you are in our system".

Here's hoping. If you don't get into this beta, dw, you'll get into one closer to the date because they need to test the servers out.

I can't wait to get into Guild Wars 2, have a pint and wait for Mists of Pandaria to all blow over.

The reason I am very confused how the NDA will look for non press. Since they just had a rather big one with an increddibly small NDA. I don't know exactly what, since TB wasn't allowed to say what it was. But they were allowed to film like, 95% of all content. So with so much up until 30 content out there, with videos of PvP and WvW ec... And still far more being editied and prepared.
It's a bit preposterous to block it at a later beta.

Wanting to put a NDA on a random crowd of fans seems just like pissing against the wind in this day and age tbh, betting that all the supposedly 'restricted' stuff will be widely known the day they let people in. <.>

Well so far in the press beta there doesnt seem to be much holding back information

Acording to TotalBuiscuit the NDA was extremly small and basicly nonexistent for most of the content they had access to.
