Closed Beta has been announced for this friday (the 16th). But will have an NDA and not be open to the public. Still, they'v stated several times that they aim for a short beta period so can't be that long.

Any news on RP servers?

No news on servers yet. But they've said that they won't have specific tags on servers. So I'm guessing that RP communities will spring up on forums and there will exist more RP heavy servers that way.

They'll have no Tags since they'll consider all servers RP. And since they actually "profit" from banning people permanently (since they might buy a new account). They won't be wuzzes about it.

And I'm in on a Sylvari guild! Seem like they can be tons of fun RPing.

As for all the "viking". They are not vikings! They might have some inspiration but that doesn't change it! *seething rage of drool yelling!*

There is some on their wiki. I'd say the same is true for the GW1 wiki. Same as for the books between them.

As for the "council" it sounds fun. Even if I think the "Advicing the new grown" is a bit unneeded since they get all of that from the tree.
