Sometimes it's hard relating to how the things relate to us forsaken when what's mentioned is largely what an avarage forsaken experience and go through.
For the most part, that would be because both death knights and forsaken are largely the same. The only difference between forsaken and forsaken death knights is that normal forsaken do not have an anchor for their soul, while death knights do. One has a runeblade and the other does not. But as both are undead, all the other characteristics apply to both, and the "shock" would be much less for a forsaken since they've already gone through the undead conversion part long before they became DKs.
Essentially, forsaken death knights are just slightly enhanced forsaken. In forsaken culture, it is unlikely that forsaken death knights would be placed on any separate pedestal from other forsaken, except perhaps for the fact that they failed hard by allowing themselves to become slaves to the Lich King a second time.

Interestingly enough, I've never met any forsaken that saw it as a failure or something similar. The only different treatment I've experienced is people being more vary, edging on being afraid of us. Thanks for clearifying it.

Hmm... a questions crossed my mind... Don't know if this has been explored in a novel or not, but... how does Garrosh actually view Death Knights? Does he view them all as some kind of more brutal form of Forsaken? Or does he view them as a seperate entity thats not to be trusted since some are part of the Alliance as well? Or does he view them as their origin race, like Orc DK's as Orcs, Belf DK's as Belf's etc...
I haven't actually seen anything about him concerning this... Or at least recall anything from Northrend during the time in Wrath...

I would imagine his hatred for undead is not restricted to forsaken and he probably does not see the death knights any different.
However, Orcish death knights could be a different concept altogether. Since he has a thing for "any means necessary", death knights just might be another useful tool! (His irrational fear of the plague/Forsaken might not make him like others that he cannot keep under his thumb as well)

This.
During Cataclysm, Garrosh found undead and the undead raising process to be sick and unnatural. It is likely he doesn't know what the difference between Forsaken and DKs is, and just considers both of them to be equally bad.
Though his opinions since Cataclysm may have changed.

I get fed up with all undead being "scourge" ideal. If you are a vet of Northrend You will know the difference between the three.
On the race side of things there are some racial flavours that might make a difference but i would say that personal char choices should come before cliche.
