Wait.... what makes you think it is bad!

I've bumped into some of your guildies on my worgen...lets just say my guy wanted to rip their throats out afterwards, and my guys normally well controlled and composed. Didn't of course, cus 1: that would be bad rp to try and kill them without their permission. 2: we were in the middle of SW at the time xD

Not compassion. Both have respect. Which is entirely different. Shadow believes in respecting other people's power, because you'll just get yourself killed fast if you don't. That's an interesting concept, aye. It's the start of darkness, the idea of getting power in order to do good. Typically though, the desire for power begins to trump everything else, and the original goals get forgotten. It ends up becoming a story of a character unwittingly traveling down the road to hell (paved with good intentions), which is what makes it a very interesting concept to play,.

/sigh Minus one slip up but only a small handful of people saw that whom all of which I have apologised to, I've pretty much done this since the start and still no one wants to RP with me. xD

My Death Knight is a forsaken, I kinda ignore the fact he's a DK, just a well.
. warrior.. I now want to roll him as another race just to highlight the fact he's a death knight! I'm so glad monrena bumped this, I missed it the first time round.

Many of the family of the Death Knights were buried at Light's Hope Chapel, and the spirits of their relatives rose to convince them to lay down their weapons. Thassarian was convinced by his father, Killoren, to stand down. Mograine declared the independence of the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Thassarian confronted King Varian Wrynn to accept the Knights of Ebon Blade as allies and to readmit its members as members of the Alliance.

I was aware of it, but I never noted it in this thread because this guide is more about what DKs are/act like, rather than the history behind the Ebon Blades.

Well.... the Q only shows Daddy Mograine however that suggests any DK there would have had a personal visitation? from a loved one, well maybe a loved one in the blade. My point is the Q didnt make that v clear and I had no idea it was not just Mograine who had someone join them.

So were you a DK at Lights hope, did you get a visit?

I have personally had a gut full of that now about this one char. When he was a DK there was bitching, when he was evil here was bitching, when he did good there was bitching.

Here is a bit of RP wisdom. "around all chars there is truth and there is a big cloak of the unknown. If you believe everything that has been said of Lex you get a strange picture that is not what I have ever RPed. Frankly I know Lex better than others. Not only is the truth added to by others, I with hold other truths from you all for RPing reasons. Lex has RP secrets, plots that have not yet come into play.

Now realizing that largely and without insult, you are ignorant of any and all chars you do not control, passing judgement is a very dumb thing to do.

Although it brings into focus a new thing that I don't know if this has been answered here or in the Sha thread... How do Death Knights handle the whole Sha thing?

I mean, we pretty much feed on inflicting pain, we feel anger more keenly than most...and I imagine some Death Knights would doubt their place amongst the living more keenly than some.

Death knights would be sha magnets.

Indeed, Gor'Thrak is having some trouble with the sha himself. Already spewed up some.

I always get the feeling that there should be two ways of describing a Death Knight. The Forsaken Death Knights. And all the rest of them. Sometimes it's hard relating to how the things relate to us forsaken when what's mentioned is largely what an avarage forsaken experience and go through.
