Nah, not yet. It'll probably be a month or so. I'm enjoying my time "between MMOs" Wink.

It's probably a good thing, all that power was getting to my head. I was seconds away from ordering the heads to be chopped off from those who disagreed with me Razz. Besides, Alterac can always be retaken, and reorganized, to Silferopolis at a later date...

This is true. Nygarth's mean streak towards the Baron is very much exaggerated (which the coming strips will show) the reasons for that is that I need antagonists for the strip, many which I need to either make up completely or turn into villains since very few people you roleplay with becomes antagonistic at all.

Continue with my blessing! Just don't forget to get Orthur involved with much expensive wine and tomfoolery.

Don't worry Orthur, I've planned for it. And the only way it could contain more tomfoolery where if I were to present a fool named Tom in the comic Wink.

Either how, I actually found myself with nothing to do at all this friday, so I figured I used this extra spare time to make you all a bonus strip. Enjoy:

Part 33 is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and I just found out that I forgot to make the Baron wear his winter coat for this part. I thought that I could either make him say "It's cold, I'd better put this on" or something like that, or do it like this. I found this one to be marginally more entertaining. So there you go.

I won't lie to you. Sleep deprivation may have had something to do with this particular strip.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

In the Argent Crusade, such things as trickery and deceit were frowned upon. Taking a subtle route was often discouraged. I remember this one time when me and a couple of others had to travel through Darkshire (during that time there were plenty of cultist who didn't quite fancy us) The Baron advised that they should travel incognito, or at least remove their tabards. The others didn't quite agree...

Of course, the Space Marines of Warhammer 40k are such bad asses that the mere sight of them makes people quake in their boots, making their lack of subtly a bit more justified.

Fun fact, when I started with this comic I had a few other ideas for a webcomic as well. One of them was a comic featuring my home brewed Space Marine Chapter - The Sons of Macedon, and their less than glorious battles in the name of the emperor.

Anyway... I'll go to bed now, hopefully you'll receive a better one next week.

First. Now. Awesome stuff as always, and a bit of a late vote: I like the current style, it has somehow become iconic for the comic.

Regarding the art upgrade I've been hearing you out. Most, that is all, of you seemed to favor the older style compared to the new cartoonish style I presented, for quite good reason. I have as such decided not to make any fundamental changes to the artwork, but still do an over all upgrade since there are many problems with the current style that makes it difficult to work with, such as the models being hard to maneuver, the colour pallet appearing quite dark on some monitors and some esthetic's as well.

I have converted a few of the main characters to the new style and I wanted to show my drawings to you and see what you think about it (Since you're an important part of the comic - being my readers and all):

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Here's the Baron. The main thing I worked with (apart from a change of colours) is the style on his clothes, which I wanted to have an aristocratic feel to it, but still look like clothes one could adventure in. I've also improved his hairstyle, making him seem more dashing. Oh, and you may notice a gorgeous set of fingers on his hands Wink.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I've never been quite happy with the way Alexandra was drawn. Basically I just copied Nilda's model and made a few changes. I was also never content with her clothes (which is why I've made small changes to them in almost every appearance she has had), so I decided to give her clothes a complete work-over into something more ladylike, I am quite happy with the result.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Actually, Arathoran's Armour was supposed to have a gold colored feel to it, but the monitor I used by the time didn't quite display colours as it should, which is why it seems to be bronze instead. I decided to change this with the upgrade. Otherwise his appearance remains mostly the same, he still remains the badass champion of the crusade, sporting a sweet mustache.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Now, Nilda has probably seen the most dramatic changes so far. Her old model seemed almost a bit too cute, while the character itself is described as homely. As such I gave her a more ragged look, with unkempt hair and a scar across her face, making her seem more like a warrior than a lady. I also changed her plate armor into one made of chain-mail instead, making her outfit both more unique and, in my opinion, more suitable to her personality.

Now, there are still alot of work left. Several main characters, such as Eloresh, Morty and, of course, Kathless, left to convert. As well as a whole bunch of other things. The goal is still to put it into use when the next arc begins.

So, what do you think?

The models still look sweet but the arms on the three others look kinda stiff, if ya get me. They seem kinda stuck out unnaturally.

I know. The Baron's model has by far seen most work. The others are still lacking a few things, the arms on the others are the same (both for right and left) and simply copied and mirrored. Rest assured that they will be fixed when the upgrade is due.

The boobs are a bit too large, IMO. They're basically balloons on the chest, which doesn't look all that good IMO. The Nilda model had a much better size than the new one, for example.

I do like how the Baron turned out, though. Classy!

Thanks! Very Happy Too be honest I wasn't sure about the breast size myself. I'll tone them down a bit ^^.
