I actually had this huge speech about todays comic, but I figured I already covered the main parts of it into the strip, so no need for me to repeat myself.

I might however add that I am not nearly as critical of my work as it seems in the comic, I am actually semi-content with it.

I tried to sneak in a joke at the end, but it's a really weak one. (silliness are unfortunately not as easy to squeeze into flashbacks as I try to hand out the relevant information as quickly as possible so we can return to the present). In my defense it was a rough day at the office today, I'll see what I can do next week.

Well, we're fast heading towards the end of this flashback. And things are definitively not looking bright in past-Alterac. Figuratively speaking of course, the torches are lighting up things quite nicely.

"Let them eat cake" is supposedly what Marie Antoinette said about the lower classes suffering in pre-revolutionary France. Though doubt the story needs any actual explaining.

Sorry about the late post guys! I actually did the comic last night, as I usually do (you can check the upload date on the deviantart link from the OP if you want ) but right after uploading it, I for some unknown reason lost my Internet connection. Anyhow, now I'm at work, and I such (although a little bit later than usual) I present the next comic to you:

Now, judging from views per comic I have noticed a decline in readers as of late, not sure if members have left the forums or because the recent flashback arc has been less popular than the average strips. If such is the case, then I can comfort you with the fact that the next strip will be the last in this flashback sequence.

There he goes again, the silly Baron. Making promises he won't keep. This flashback dragged on a bit longer than I expected, though it contained some necessary information , it was a bit of a drag to make. According to the original background for the Baron, his mother actually commits suicide during this period, but I felt that would be a bit to angsty.

Now, let's see if we can't get back to some more lighthearted adventures.
