I do. It's the same person expressing some thought patterns. Now, if there was a healthy personality behind those fingers typing, he wouldn't even be having those thought patterns. I don't care if he's expressing them on the internet, the tv, his rl friends or his secret diaries; the basic key-fact here is that he has them. That's where it stops being an "assumption" and becomes observation. I don't "assume" anything here. I speak my mind on what I see happening in a repeated pattern without failure to stay his course.

Maybe you simply didn't happen to see his misbehaving in all its glory, maybe you interprete it differently, maybe you are more tolerant to it than I am. All good and valid. The only reason I used the word "true" there, is because (according to his own thorough explanations of how he sees the internet; this "he feels he's untouchable" part is not my words. It's his.) he defines the internet as somewhere that he cannot be held responsible for his words and actions. Which is the definition of "no peer pressure". No consequences, nothing. And he chooses to behave like this. This is why I consider (not assume. consider.) it to be his real character.

I did say it wouldn't be pleasant to hear, but then again I'm hardly ever trying to sugarcoat stuff that I think should be presented as-is.

But let's also try to be good Samaritans and give him another chance? Maybe all the other times didn't work out because in reality, nobody really gave him another chance?

there will always be someone who will want to "give another chance" and it will always end up the same way, because he (and anyone in his place) only focuses on one input: "there will be another chance, so don't bother "

I don't know Nayan, maybe you're right. But you know, people say a lot of things sometimes. Just because Siela said that he acts the way he does because he thinks he's invincible on the internet or whatever, it doesn't really mean that that's really why he's like that ...

So I don't really agree with you, but I also didn't agree with you on the whole "gay" thing either. But whatever, it's your opinion and you can do whatever you want. (But you're still wrong!111!!!!!one!!!)

Wouldn't it be the opposite, considering on the internet you have no boundaries when it comes to being an asshole. E.G. Siela may act nice IRL but when he's in an environment where he can say anything without consequences, he would rather be a dick instead of still being nice on the internet, showing who he truly is; a person too scared to act twatish IRL because he will face consequences, so instead does so over the internet.

Celltrex went to Stromgarde and corpsecamped Timna during roleplay with the pure intention to get me to run over and protect her so he could fight me.
Which he confessed to her aswell.

I'm afraid that everything Nayan has said is far too accurate about Celltrex.

The real why doesn't matter in this case. No one is obliged to seek out that real why when he gives us a reason himself. The attitude sucks no matter the reason behind it, be it really the one he gives or not. It's definitely his decision to act the way he does and that has consequences, simple as.

I personally decided not to bother with him at all anymore, that's why he's being ignored on the realm forums as well. Unless a miracle happens and he makes a 180° turn, I prefer not have anything to do with him, trying to found out about his personal issues included.

It's become a sport to most people, in order to kill lowbies, gank them, corpsecamp them untill they bring their mains over so they can have a bit of World PvP. Believe it or not, they are actually successful with this in the end, and they get their will.

The meaning behind this topic has started to dabb out and I don't think there's much more to say to this other than what has been previously said.

It wasn't WPvP. It was just Celltrex. And he only wanted -me-.
To do that he went to gank roleplay. Which, is frankly the topic. Celltrex, and what he does, and why his chances and reasons to be accepted back into the roleplay community are so slim.

I can confirm what Trave said.

Nevertheless, my coin on it all.

I say it's fine, give him another chance, give him a chance to show he's somewhat mature (don't pick at my choice of words there!) and that he isn't such a bad guy. I've heard no bad things from him in person and so on, he's never been a bastard yada yada yada, and I don't even know his background so I truly have no quarrels except the fact that he's ganking and so on.

I'm willing and glad to see someone take initiative to help this guy even if it fails - dedication, people! Think like this: If it does work, we'll all get another ganker out of the game. The worst one, so we will likely get less ganked during roleplay and can enjoy the game to a greater extent.

If it doesn't work - So what? Nothing changes, and they've shown the dedication of change, yet nothing happened. It doesn't grant them a bad image at all, atleast not to me, where they simply gather my respect in attempt to try to do so (and to try to help us, as said above, enjoy the game to a greater extent!)

I'll keep an eye out for you guys as well and toss you a PM if I see any inapproperiate stuff.

I've already forgiven him for everything he's done in the past. It's what he thinks and does in the present that makes me dislike him.

And I've just forgiven him for the past five seconds. But he's still thinking the same things, a member of the same organisation IRL, and just removed -another- mutual friend of ours from his RealID for refusing to leave my guild. ^^

I can forgive again and again until the cows come home. But until he changes who he is on a fundamental basis I and many others are still going to dislike him.
