Conspiracy = thinking/planning about doing something. Thought crime. We think that you might have thought/planned to "create a nuisance".
So it'd be fine for me to plan to kill your entire family? You know, work out the details, a real conspiracy. Would it be fine for me to plan to create a public disturbance (say, planning to create a panic at a rock concert)?
Because the police would not be able to do fuck all before I actually did something (and thus it's already too late). The police would only be able to arrest me after I had caused the disturbance, possibly injuring a lot of people due to the ensuing panic, maybe killing them..

Nice one to exaggerate and make a caricature of my argument, Mr. Straw Man
If you had read it, you'll see what Mr.Veitch was planning to do. To assemble in soho square, with megaphones. Is this indicative of causing a mass murder? Don't get carried away here. The only thing Charlie Veitch was CONSPIRING (such a scary word) to do, was to exercise his free speech.
The real problem here is that he has not commited a CRIME nor has he planned to commit one. Let's examine the 'charge' further. To create a public nuisance. I am not even sure under what exact law this falls under. If they were to really stretch themselves, perhaps a 'breach of the peace'. Quoting the courts in 1982:"there cannot be a breach of the peace unless there has been an act done or threatened to be done which either actually harms a person, or in his presence his property, or is likely to cause such harm, which puts someone in fear if such harm being done." There has not been an act done, or threatened which actually harms a person here.
It is even further clear that this is the case, seeing as he was released after the wedding was over, without any charges. The police were just clutching at straws here.

Bwahahaha. Less than two minutes was enough for me.
Donald Trump for Prez!
All the while blaming it all on Obama.Look at what happened with Libya. Nobody even knows what's going on. Are we in a war or are we not in a war? The rebels. Who are they? Are they the rebels from Iran? Are the rebels Al-Qaeda? We don't know what we're doing and I said very simply...with respect to Libya: I'm interested in Libya if we take the oil. If we don't take the oil: No interest.

Talking about donald trump, for those that never saw the roast he faced from Obama and Seth Meyers. First vid is 18 mins long, the other is a 3 min cut segment from the 20 min long stand up by Seth, focusing on Donald. I freaking lol'ed, bully got owned.
The second vid, the expression on Donald is amusing to say the least.
EDIT: This was done a few days ago, well after that vid shal posted. Makes it more sweet.

Daily water consumption in Israel per capita is 242 liters.
In the West Bank, it's 73 litres and the lowest it has ever been is 37 litres.
World Health Organisation recommends 100 liters minimum.

Disgusting.

This is what happens when 'economic' means are used to apply pressure to nations. Israel's behaviour is disgusting as usual.
But looking at it from Israel's point of view militant and political Islam (distinct from the religion and it's practitioners) won't stop. They see expansion or surrender as their only options.
Economic sanctions and domestic restrictions will only ever hit the weak (and mostly innocent) in a country. At least military force can show discretion.
But so long as the armed forces role is to police backwards and hopeless states ad infinitum we'll never be able to intervene in every conflict and solve every problem. You can say I'm heartless till the cows come home but we demanded our democracy over hundreds of years, the people who's communities cling to the teachings of wizened mystics and corrupt demegouges have to look to themselves for a solution rather than blaming other people.
If UK citizens were firing rockets into the Republic of Ireland we wouldn't use the 1600 year old babblings of ignorant bigots to justify the attacks whilst simultaniusly blaming the Catholics for offending Protestant sensibilities. We'd do something about it.
As usual where religion is concerned both sides are wrong but we can't be expected to sort it, we're doing our best to recover from economic crissi whilst handing out aid to China and Brazil to avoid upsetting the financially comfortable liberal commentators.
The people of Palestine shouldn't be suffering because of the actions of a small segmant of their society and the arrogant behaviour of their leaders but the onus is on them to police their own community and elect representative politicians.

Re: Tzeentch's Thread of Everchanging Topics
I'm sorry, but all of that is totally immaterial. Israel is impeding on the basic human rights of civilians and this isn't the first time they've done it when it comes to the water conflict. There's no excuse at all for that kind of behavior and justifying it by trying to make me empathize with Israel is absolutely absurd.
I can understand that Israel is in a difficult position, but if I can be brutally honest, they brought it upon themselves; and just because "they see expansion or surrender as their only options", it doesn't mean it's ok to have displaced and continue to displace an entire population from their native land. I also don't think expansion or surrender are their only options.
I'm not going to pretend to be some political genius and work out some sort of solution for the entire conflict, but Israel is doing basically nothing to make all the wrongs they've done right again.
And religion was not the start of the conflict. Israelis and Palestinians are separated by religion, but the conflict isn't about that. The conflict in my opinion is about an entire people who are helpless and defenseless who are being kicked out of their homes with guns and bombs.
If you look at all the statistics when it comes to the entire conflict, the amount of Palestinian civilians killed relative to the number Israelis killed is just disturbing and shocking. The Palestinians don't even have a proper army: it's the civilians who are fighting back and the fact that they're getting very little help in defending their basic human rights is just appalling.
And maybe I cannot expect foreign aid, but what I at least expect, or hope to anyways, is for people not to support that sort of disgusting behavior ...

Sorry, maybe I didn't make it clear enough.
"Israel's behaviour is disgusting as usual." And completely unjustifiable.

Freaking stupid settlers..
Are you aware about 85% of them are Arabics of the Jewish religion? I would assume they would be little bit more humanitarian.. And the tax-payer in Israel is funding them, sitting in the territories, with 9-13 children and not working, forcing Israle's soldiers to go into there to protect them... *sigh*
Edit: Not going to go any further unless I am asked too, but generally, this all Zionist idea... If you do not listen to the regular brainwashing, they are simply claiming a religion is a race.. And it is approved because of those that did it before them, just against the jews..
