[A - H] Zombie Bash 1: Azeroth Terror

This is the first installment of the Zombie Bash in Duskwood. It is planned for Wednesday, 6th of April, 21:00, but this date IS NOT FIXED yet.




Zombie Bash! Azeroth Terror

Introduction
A sermon takes place in the chapel of Darkshire, up the hill outside town. But the scent of the living stirrs unlife in the neighbourhood. The land, hungering for blood and fresh life, spits out its zombies and skeletons to claim those lives that set foot on its ground.

OOC:
The sermon in the chapel is the intro and gathering point for the alliance. The hill next to the chapel is the gathering point for the zombies.

Phase 1: Oh noes! Zombies!
Preacher: "Thank you for joining the Semon."
A brave guard swings open the doors of the chapel. A scream is hear in the middle of the chapel.
Desperate woman: "Zombies! Oh noes!"
Zombies: "Foooooood Delivery!"
Brave guard: "Defend this ground brave armsmen! By the Light they will be purged!"

OOC:
Zombies attack the chapel's inhabitants, while guards bravely defend it. There -shouldn't- be deaths or many on alliance side. The Zombies will die massively on the other hand.
Combat ressing, corpse running etc allowed.

This will go on for a good 5-10 minutes.

Phase 2: The escape to safety.
A desperate woman: "The horror! Will this ever stop?"
Brave guard: "They seem to be weakened for the time being. This is our chance to break through!"
Desperate woman: "Oh dear! I can't go on! I'm 27 years old and I'm not married."
Brave guard: "I'll marry you, just as long as you get moving."
Zombies: "Fast...Foooodd..."

OOC:
The people escape from the chapel and run to Darkshire. They have to beat their way through the zombies.
Combat ressing, corpse running etc allowed.

This ends when all alliance players reached Darkshire. Zombies can't enter Darkshire, since npc guards will kill them near instantly, making it a workable safety zone.

Phase 3: The attackers rest in their cases.
Desperate woman: "Oh noes! The Zombies have followed us! How is this possible?"
Brave guard: "We lured them here... they want to drag us back. To the defenses!"
Zombies: "Take away... Fooodd..."

OOC:
The Zombies will attack the town, which is bravely defended. For fun's sake this defense is held right outside town, where the town guards don't spawn. The Zombies will try to attack the town from one side, mostly. No complex tactics permitted. Run in, die, ress, run in, die, ress.
Combat ressing, corpse running etc allowed.

This will go on for a good 5-10 minutes.

Outro
Brave guard: "They have been destroyed! Another victory for the Light!"
Desperate woman: "Marry me!"
Brave guard: "Yeah!"

Everybody ends happily ever after... For now.

Is that picture the desperate woman? Reminds me alot of Valerias.

I doubt the woman in the pic is desperate I just tried to copy the style of the poster of Planet Terror and indeed it does resemble Valerias. It is a coincidence.. but it worked out best this way for the pic.
(I also think Valerias is one of the best looking fem models, so maybe I'm just biased)

This reminds me horribly much of the zombie event, except you can't infect anyone

Hehe, well... More or less, I suppose.

Looking back at it, I forgot to state some obvious, but perhaps unclear things:

Zombies
The "Undead of Duskwood" will participate and lead things on Horde side, but all Horde Forsaken and Death Knights are invited to join! We only request to leave any serious PvP gear home. We're frail, mindless zombies. A stick and a rusted mail shirt, or tattered cloth is all we'll wield.

Living
All alliance players are invited to join the Sermon and participate in the event. We recommend IC gear, since our hope is to make the zombies weak enough to be bashed down in whatever gear you wear
"Of Duskwood" will probably take the lead on this side.

Is this chapel the one in the graveyard surrounded by low lvl trash mobs?

Hopefully our resident warlock will be on the 'right' team

I'll probably be there under my priest cover if all goes well

I've been slacking gravely on the followup on this, and sadly, I find myself unprepared. Therefor, I will postpone this event for two weeks, though I'll check the exact date tonight.
