So in spirit of the thread, what's the current status of this or are we in limbo?

I am not quite sure regarding the situation between the Legacy and the Forsaken, but we still have a piece of the sword contained in a vault somewhere. No comments, as it'd spoil all the secrecy! I think it's on a brief break, as it's Easter, after-all. Legacy of Dawn is, at least!

The six shards have been given away. Now it is time for the Forsaken (Mervyn) to begin moving the pieces to start the hunt. I am myself at Belgium right on some vacations, and I will be back at the end of this week/start of the next. I'll speed things up a bit once I am back myself as well. The shard Gazzek says he has was a especial event prepared to have the Horde count with one as well (quite funny it was eh Gazzek? xD). And meaning Horde, in this, I do not mean Forsaken. The idea of giving them a shard is that it is kept away from the Forsaken thanks to the greedy nature of the Goblins not wanting to sell it for a "low" price (which obviously will bring friction between both of them)

As for the rest, yes, all given and secured now!

Indeed it is Mandui, Mervyn has taken some days off due to his exams, and he was the one taking control of the stuff on the Horde side. Due to the lack of communication with the rest of the officers on the Forsaken side, mostly due to me... we are going to have our next event, tomorrow Sunday, and it sure is going to be a heck of a fight to make the event go straight forward once again ^^

Playing all the possible stories behind each of the shard, at the same time... Is impossible. We (our guild) do not choose anymore how it continues, or what target is next. The Forsaken are the ones doing it, since it is them who want to see the blade reforged. Currently, they are stalking one of the shards that is in possesion of the Arathorians, in case you are interested Smile

So answering your question... Yes, it is still alive, and always has been since it started.

Mervyn has quite unfortunately left the game. I'll have to find and see who of the new deathblade officers will take up what he left.

I know.. I know.. Long time, since this was around... But, I found this epic, really ..epic. As the war moves on, tides turning on fronts all around, this would be a piece to be shown to rally the forsaken even more! And create some drama... *dreams away*
