[WPvP] Battle for Silverpine

With the successful series of battles within northern Lordaeron the Forsaken High Command has grown concerned that following the retreat of the good bulk of their forces within the region that the Grand Alliance will press home this advantage and drive south into the Tiristfal Glades. Unwilling to allow their enemies to reach so deep into their territories the Horde begins to reinforce its positions within the region of The Bulwark and the edges of the Plaguelands. In truth this is what the Alliance had hoped for; with further pressure placed upon their north most holdings they would scramble resources from their others fronts of Gilneas, Hinterlands and Arathi.

Not intending to let this opportunity slip from their grasp the Gilneas Liberation Front makes plans for a renewed offensive into neighbouring Silverpine Forest to both reclaim their holdings of Ambermill and drive the Forsaken further back into their homelands, keeping them pinned within Tiristfal and keeping them so isolated that their border holdings would drop without the support granted by its capital.

With their forward holding of Pyrewood, recently reclaimed from the Deathblade Militia of the Cult of Forgotten Shadow the Gilneans begin to amass their forces for this renewed offensive into the heart of Lordaeron. Strength in numbers never harmed matters however and thus send offers to those other militaries and nations of the Grand Alliance who would be willing to grant assistance in this matter.

What? World PvP & Roleplaying Campaign.
Where? Silverpine Forest, Lordaeron.
Who? Alliance & Horde guilds & individuals willing to take part.
When? Contact Gunnell [A] or Mervyn [H] in-game or via PM.

The Battle for Silverpine is, as you will have already figured out for yourself, a WPvP campaign based around the Gilnean Armed Forces launching an offensive against the now reduced Forsaken garrisons within Silverpine Forest. Unlike the recent Western Plaguelands events this is intended to be on a smaller scale with a greater enthuses on the roleplaying between various groups within their respective factions.

The Campaign shall take place over roughly three-to-four days officially; two areas being fought for per night as well as a final climatic battle on the fourth night. More casual roleplaying amongst those taking part on both sides of the faction spectrum shall take place both before and after each night's player versus player combat. In a sense the WPvP is merely the means to which this roleplay may arise rather than intended to be the whole focus.

Whilst I shall take the liberty of personally contacting various guilds about the Alliance (with Mervyn) taking this part for the Horde) you may still contact me (and individuals) either in-game on Gunnell or by sending me a private message here on the forums. Keep an eye on this thread as developments shall be posted here in due time.

Date has been set (although this may, of course, change if any issues arise). Alliance individuals or guilds should contact myself (Gunnell) and Horde should speak with Mervyn for both information and the actual date - Its purely so we can get an estimation on numbers attending.

It is rather pitful infact that the alliance attempt so full heartedly to reclaim lands that never belonged to them, those returning to lordaeron are the betrayers, those that let the true people of Lordaeron, the Forsaken, Suffer at the hands of the scourge, they are the cowards who fled while the true heroes bled and died for their homeland, our homeland...I welcome any and all attempts by the pathetic cowards, hiding behind their just as pathetic holy light, to try and take lands that death it self could not take!
