WPvP in plaguelands
Was this event advertised around here beforehand?
edit: Just asking, no passive-aggresiveness here!
Moderator edit: If you want to discuss the event do so in a mature manner. Any flame attempts will be removed.
edit to reply to our dear moderators:
Could you kindly point out what was so immature about my question, and why it was split off while the drama llama posts are still in it? Ta.

Re: WPvP in plaguelands
Don't think so. But regardless it can be discussed in private and doesn't need to derail someone else's event-thread.

Wasn't advertised on Alliance anyway, only guilds were approached privately, and a few found out ICly.

Re: WPvP in plaguelands
Was fun while it lasted.
I still don't get why so many horde guilds just gave up and quit, instead of calming down and waiting for the problems to be discussed and solved.
I can't remember a single WPVP event where there was no "cheating" from either side... isn't it a bit foolish to assume everything will go perfectly?
Sin Belore would have stayed, but doing so alone doesn't make any sense from an IC point of view.
Edit: Also, for next time, setting up a forum post/ ingame channel before the event starts would be nice! Information was mostly not available at all.

Channel was created, and information was given to the officers
Edit: To clarify, further information was given to everyone via raid chat, Channel and raid warning before the event itself.

Re: WPvP in plaguelands
We found out about the channel at 20:00 on thursday.
Also, we were given false information that all the horde guilds would gather up at Bulwark on the 1st of this month, to discuss the tactics and so forth. None of the other guilds showed up though
Just a case of miscommunication, which is understandable I suppose. Which only speaks out for the fact that maybe a forum post should have been created before the event ;P

Awesome screenies!
I agree with Nessra that it would've been nice to have the campaign advertised here on the forums - not that it looks like numbers were lacking, but for communication's sake.

I had fun the first copple of fights, then some annoyance over some matters made me a bit annoyed. But always love a good epic fight when your FPS drops to around 1-2 due to everything going on. And surviving until it levels out!
As for the Orcs leaving. We left for IC reasons as we think that fighting over the plaugelands just because the Forsaken want more power is. A not so smart cause. We left with a "If it comes to being a defense of the bulwark we'll go back".

Re: WPvP in plaguelands
I had good fun! I was late due to a RL event, but I had my First Mate directing the crew til I got there. I wasn't in a raid group for a great deal of it, so I was relying on my skype call with my lot. XD
Oddly enough, the only time I DID actually die was when I joined a raid group and slacked off on surviving. Never trust healers! XD
I'll never forget Raelan effectively teabagging me as I waited on that current tussle to end so that I could release. XD

Thats what I call effective use of terror tactics and warfare to crush the morale and spirit of the enemy. -nod-

They should have let me cut off some of Jayse's toes while I had the chance! *shakes fist*
Ohwell. I thought it was lasting over a few days? 'Cause I ordered my crew to return, and one was offering GHI potions, etc, pick-me-ups, tonics for the wounded and enragement elixirs!. I'll go inform them that it's over. XD

Seemed like an interesting event to watch from the air. Didn't personally take part in the fight until like the last one (Your welcome for not exposing you Kaigron )
Overall I did wonder how the heck this went under the rader from the RP forums. Ah well.
