Apparently one of Baron Mistmantles servants was a noblewoman, one could wonder what she was thinking

It can disintegrate an entire doom guard legion in the blink of an eye... If it weren't for that war wound aching up, I'd go with him just to take a look at it!

The argument goes on into the night, the embellishment grows, and the elf appears to have turned into a Succubus before they pass out drunk.

'... my dear, do you not know your registry of Stormwind nobles? Well, that is, the Dawns are technically nobles but I believe this Eothan's father bought his title *sniff* Anyway... I hear that Eothan Dawn is a real troublemaker.'

'Oh! I remember now. Wasn't he accused of murdering his father last year?'

'That's the man. How dreadful. It's also common knowledge that he's raising the child of a prostitute.'

'Ooh. I heard it was two children with two different prostitutes.'

'Oh no, dear, that's not it. One of the children is by his wife, but I hear that he murdered her, too.'

'Shocking! Dreadful! What is this city coming to?'

'Lord Aislinghall should do something about his sisters, that's what I say. It isn't proper for him to spend all of his time in Dalaran, even if he is some Kirin Tor mage.'

Really? I heard them cursing about some wolves. Some 'pack' it appears closer to the evening

I would go and ask if i wouldn't fear getting burned myself. They didn't seem happy at all

Erm... rumours aren't always 100% factual or even right. Afterall, we all like to embellish upon things, we mishear things or make our own assumptions, or even just spread lies about someone we don't like. Such as the evil Chapter. They aren't evil, but the rumors nearly ALWAYS make them out to be.

I think the key here is simply to be respectful of other's characters. Some may not appreciate random ill-rumours going around about their characters just because someone else thought it was funny.

Naturally it'll depend on the person concerned (for example I laughed at Faralan's rumour above, and my own post about Eothan was definitely full of half-truths), but if in doubt, don't make up a random story about someone else's character.
