I am -grateful- they skipped whole lot of stuff on Arya, I found the chapters of her ongoing misadventures in-between attack on the Night's Watch camp and arrival at Harrenhall about the most boring chapters in the book. So glad that they are gone! Yay.
Ahh I was thinking to myself when they arrived at Harrenhall and had the torturing part like "Hey wasn't this at some village at some point.. oh well that was kind of pointless anyways"
Good thing about this and the next season is that I read the books so long ago that I am starting to forget thigns. Little mishaps and missing characters don't hurt so much then

I too am glad they missed out the travelling. I didn't mind it in the book but it makes a whole lot of sense in the show.
The thing about the author is that he is an old man who writes about 15 year old kids having sex... in detail. This means that anything in that fucked up but brilliant head of his could happen!

Try watching it in Costa at 11am in the morning surrounded by people. I felt as awkward as Davos did.Am I the only one who was unphased by that scene? It wasn't -that- bad.

- Spoiler:
- The ending of the latest episode was kinda lame ... I liked how the whole fantasy theme wasnt that exaggerated in the series but I'm a bit meh'd at how there's like magic and stuff in the story now ... BUT WHO CARES when that thing came out of the fire bitch it was still pretty cool
Also I love Geoffery he's coming out to be one of my favourite characters I think and I have major crush on Renly and Robb Stark

what the hell? we've seen white-walkers, we've seen three-eyed crows and vision dreams, we've seen bloody dragons...
there has been plenty of magic and hints of magic in the series already. before miss spready-legs.

Gotta say you sound a little silly if you think shadow demons are more cheesy than dragons.Shaelyssa wrote:

Hahaha probably, but even so I actually don't mind the GoT dragons they're still a far cry better than the Eragon dragons. Either way though, who cares right? :p It's still a great show and I'm really enjoying it so meh whatever!
And LOL Ezl ... sad thing is, you're probably right 8) hahaha

That was just weird. I never did like that whore. My friend was shouting RIGHT, I'M LOOKING AWAY NOW, TELL ME WHEN IT'S OVER down skype at me, since we watch them every week together. XD
I just bought a couple of books to keep me occupied while I wait on more, they'll keep me up to date with the story so far too!

You know what I find funny?
Across the different forums, I've seen multiple rants about how season 2 is straying too far from the book and that its ruining there experience.. and funnily that group has soo much overlap with the people that are complaining about the Melicunts Shadowbreed while it is in the book. Not directed at any of you though i just find it funny

Book is not the Television, Television is not the book. You got different constraints and have to -redo- the story to make it into good television. Wish people would realize that.
- A Clash of Kings:
Can't wait for next episode. Hope that the Qarthene scene with the House of Dust and the warlocks will be in it. That gotta be some surreal stuff!

Oh yeah the episode.. It really didn't go well with me.
- Spoiler:
- I really didn't expect Renley to actually die, and so soon. I do believe he'd have been a rather good king, even if he was a wuss and inexperienced warrior. I think he'd have been a good leader. Sadly he obviously got a bit too high and mighty and arrogant, thinking nothing could happen to him.

- UGH I KNOW RIGHT it's so unfair. I'm not sure he'd make a good king but still :( he was interesting to watch ... in more than one way
TYPICAL of them though to kill off one of the leading gay characters .... homophobes!!!!!!!
