Fuck you Theon.. And the fucker that killed Yoren (I think that was his name atleast, the Recruiter of N's Watch)
- Spoiler:
Yoren it was indeed yeah. I actually was surprised by Theon's turning but at the same time it makes perfect sense. He was given to the Starks as a prisoner of war(I understand?) and yet when he goes back to his father his own father shits on him. So he's divided between the loyalty for his father and the ones the Stark entrusted him with so he doesn't "really" belong either. He has no place. He's trying to belong but I can see his story becoming a tragic one. I feel sad for what may hold for him.
Was amused by how Margerie (Played by Natalie Dormer, THATS RIGHT Anaei!) was all ok with the threesome idea between herself, her brother and the king. She aint holding back.
- Spoiler:
- Aye, that was pretty amusing. Even more so the fact she was well aware, but that Renley wasn't aware she was.
And yeah, I can picture it being a tragic future for Theon, which is why I said fuck you. 'Cause he'd be better off placing alliegiance to an HONOURABLE House, that happen to love him as a brother. But that's my opinion ofc. We'll see what unfolds.

You should rename this thread to "Game of Thrones".

Don't read unless you have read the books...
- Spoiler:
- Really, honestly, stop reading now unless you actually read the last book, seriously.
Whatcha guys think of Jon dying? Im not sure if he will be brought back by those flames and all, but it dosen't quite make sense that he's all the way dead yet, right?

Answer (don't read unless you finished a Dance with Dragons)
- Spoiler:
- I think Mellisandre will ressurect him, although I can actually see Jon permanently dying, Janos Slynt taking over the Wall, 'civil war' breaking out between Wildlings, Night's Watch and Stannis' men which results in the wall actually....FALLING and the Others invading through the breach. (hence the Winds of Winter as title for next book)

- I agree. I would not be surprised after the red wedding incident if Jon dies. Killing off one of the favorites is a great move from the writers perspective, causes an outrage and makes you worried for every single character. Though, I DO hope he lives. His story is my favorite tbh.

- Well, i hope he isn't dead since there is the entire theory that he is the prince that was promised, he would be a much better one rather than Stannis... Draenerys could work though.

- Ok. This might seem a bit weird an idea. But bare with me.
Melisandre truily does believe he is Rhyllor's chosen. Because he is a prince.
Because Jon Snow is a bastard, of sorts. But not Ned's.
He's Lyanna's son, by Rhaegar Targaryen (possibly by rape prior to Robert's Rebellion).
There's what I think are a few hints to suggest Ned's story is a lie to protect his sister, the honour of his family honour and his best friend (Robert's). And why he ignores Jon as heir when he searches for Robert's heir. Because he doesn't want a Dragon on the Iron Throne.
So he dies, to be reborn.
And, his death really surprised me. Up until the knife itself. Just like it did for Jon I guess...

- "Dance':
Don't forget the prophecies!
Melissandre is constantly looking to see Stannis and his Future, but she finds only Jon. Why? Because she isn't looking for Stannis, She's looking for Azor Ahai reborn, and his future.
and you find the commander of the Nights Watch, that has faced Others, knows of their comming and knows how to stop them. A dream where he had a burning sword. The Vision where Jon becomes wolf then man again.
all indicate he isn't dead.
I mean, I'm just waiting for some sweet Dany and Jon action, dragons burning others to kingdom come and Jorah being even more pissed then ever.

- Spoiler:
- Gruff, your theory is very much like the "Jon Targaryen" theory that exists. But that it's not a rape. Since supposedly at the Harrenhal tournament Lyanna seemed to be attracted by Rhaegar. And it's been expressed before that she wasn't all that fond of Robert since she knew his nature to well. (From Ned's memories of his sister somewhere in book one).
So, for all we know she wasn't abducted as such, but went willing. And then there is the fact that three or four of the Kingsguard were defending the tower where she was. And were there while Kingslanding fell, and the battle of the Trident happened. So they have to have been protecting the Targaryen family which was their sworn duty.

Re: The Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
- Spoiler:
- Ah. One thing I've not done is dug around in any of the theory or info on TSoI&F that's around. Mainly because most forums are full of arsehattery, fantasy attracts cretinous twats, and also because I didn't want things spoiling before I got to them "myself".
If that makes sense.
But, yeah. The historical actions of the Kingsguard did make me wander. And Ned certainly suggests Lyanna was not as enamoured of Robert as he was of her (which i think in parts was just his "rose-tinted" view anyway, and certainly an excuse in some of his latter life for his twattiery, anger and latter life boorishness).
I'd be up for talking more of ideas here, as at least some of you aren't penises/bores/both.

- A Dance with Dragons:
Jon Targaryen is an interessting theory. The Dragon does after all have three heads. So it might just have merit. My bets are on Jon dying as a clear 'start-off' for Others' invasion.
Another thing that makes me wonder is Bran and his place in the greater scheme of things. His role eludes even my wildest guesses.
Arya is another mystery. I always thought she would join Daenerys, but I am not so certain anymore.
Petyr&Sansa....well....it is a mystery. I can't guess whether Petyr is just selflessly protecting his love's daughter or is out for some personal gain, or perhaps both?
Vicarion Greyjoy? Will he conquer Daenerys' heart, lure away her dragons with his horn?

Re: The Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
Another spoilerlicious message.
Read Dance, all that.
Read Dance, all that.
- Spoiler:
- Honestly, as of Right now Pety is on the road to become both the lord of the vale and the riverlands.
Im thinking he might be in league with Varys and they both are preparing for the return of Draenerys or possibly the other Targeryan who just landed, which would basically give them if not complete control, atleast some control of Dorne, Riverlands, The Vale and the Stormlands thing.
As for Victarion... im guessing he will help kill of all the slavers or something down where Draenerys is, after that im not sure.
Personally i just really wanna see what happens to Tyrion.

Dance with Dragons Spoilers!
On a cheerier note, that intro was hilarious.
- Spoiler:
- FUCK. Saw the name 'Jon Targaryen' somewhere. Shit. I'm supposing either Jon Snow marries Daenerys, which is highly unlikely, Daenerys gets a son and names him Jon, there's some other Targaryen also named that out there somewhere, or Jon Snow's 'Secret' Mother is a Targaryen.
About half way through 'A Feast of Crows' Currently.
