Lini, could you post a list of the dwarves currently alive? (and maybe the deceased ones as well)

Bennedict: It's Stonesense, not a graphics pack, but an external program that just illustrates how the fort looks like. Saevir should have posted the url for the Lazy Newbie pack that has it earlier in the thread.
I'd look it up... but alt tabbed from an RP session.

So, it's a personal quirk or tumor of Thenkar's. Or another way to tease your dwarf.

But seeing the game mechanic I justified to make it wider is gone, you or any other leaders are free to make it like it used to be...

The one-tile wide stairway entrance to everything below might pose a problem in the current setup, that's why I thought to mention it :3

Good thing you're concerned. Personally I rarely make them more than one tile wide.

But! We're lucky as Lini's in charge now, so it's not our problem anymore, is it?

Unfortunately I haven't been able to play today so the rest of the year will have to wait till Friday and the writeup till Friday-Saturday.

Fuck T_T im going away on Monday so my playtrought may be put off for about a week.....
Either i can still go for the 4th playtrough and just have to use a while,
Or we could get another 4th and i can take the 5th

Bluh, this seems to be a good crag to say that I'm going off away on monday too. Berlin, to be exact. I'll be back on friday, so if you're fast enough to reach

Alternatively, lure enough people to bolster our hippy bunch of expedition leaders, so the cycles will take some time.

Do you guys play it original-graphiced or do you play it w/ a sprite-pack that makes it look better?

I think we've all played it with the MayDay sprite set that comes with the lazy newb pack (Lini might be using vanilla ASCII just to out-macho us though).

I didn't really get accustomed to the MayDay set, so I returned back to the original ASCII, which I then used to play my turn. (Its dwarves are just so much more adorable.)

Only graphical leeway I gave was to take screens with Stonesense, because they're a bit easier to show to the audience. (Read that as: It was ten times easier to take the screenshots xP)

So I don't know about the others, but I played vanilla.

The ultimate Dwarf game, hmh, I remember leaving the drawbridge open, Goblins came and killed everyone...

I tried Phoebius, but I dislike the fact that grass and stuff was grey.
