Ah, sweet, thanks. Yeah seems like a special forsaken thing though. Nothing the Church of the Holy Light would allow. Anyway, since it's confirmed Forsaken apparently can use Holy Light magic -and- be healed by it, I guess Shadow no longer being evil and used by everyone is cool too.

Oh, it's evil alright. It's always been usable by everyone as well. Majority of religions just tend to swing towards Light instead of Shadow. Human shadow priests for example aren't very common for the simple fact that most human priests follow the teachings of the Holy Light.

And some zealous examples of humanity tend to go to extremes against people practicing the divine shadow

This is the spawn of all the bull from Knaak and random - DnD rip offs to set the WC rpg. In the end, you´ll find and abuse any sort of loop holes or twists to further glorify your character, there´s always some excuse some loose thread to pull to get wha'chu want. Be it channeling all schools of magic, or raise or escape death. yaddla yaddla.
