Who do you think will win the World Cup?

Re: World Cup!
As I said there is no clear choice for the goalkeeper spot, and the guy who was going to be picked got injured like two days ago.
Plus who the hell picks a side two weeks before the game O.o

Lol@goalkeepers so far. The general quality is at a low 6 so far. Holland was a real tearjerker. At least we won 2-0.

Best I've heard so far was someone wondering why she couldn't see Venezuela in the match schedules, since "everyone is talking about it". >.>

Re: World Cup!
Game-related, I watched a few "opportunities" and the goals from Korea-Greece.. my god, so much fail -.- Where was the keeper gathering the ball in the set piece? And what a lovely assist on the 2nd >.> ..not even going to comment on the airball played offensively. *sigh*
And yah, Argentina remains my vote, along with the efficiency of the Dutch and the top form of the Germans. I'd look among those three.

Re: World Cup!
The dutch fail, no efficiency there, just luck. As much as it pains me to say so. :p
Argentina: Failcoach is fail
Germany: Number one favorite as of now. They are the only team so far that actually played a fast, efficient, creative and fun-to-watch match.
Also, I was pretty surprised by North Korea yesterday, to be honest. They played pretty well, or Brazil was fucking shit. Probably a mix of both. Kim Jong Il approves with a vuvuzela.

More than likely. However, don't forget: Argentina and Brazil are two teams that -can- win a World Cup by having an untrained newborn monkey on their bench.Archal/Hazrah/Vaneyk wrote:Argentina: Failcoach is fail

It's real. I can tell by the amount of pixels, and I have seen a lot of shops in my life.
And Nay, I don't think Messi can carry Argentina. He's a brilliant player, but he, as well as the rest of his team have yet to show any fireworks.

Of course it is, silly.
I heard the Dutch are in for a bit of trouble because one beer company used a bunch of women to promote their beer. The problem there is that they were attempting to market at a football game, while another is that the event is already sponsored by Budweiser. Some ITV guy who used to be a footballer got sacked because he passed the tickets onto them.

Re: World Cup!
Seeing the favorites and outsiders so far playing (apart from Spain), here follows an -ahem- IN DEPTH analysis:
Argentina - I'll stick by my statement that Messi doesn't perform well on tournaments with the national team; besides that the game was a bit bland.
Brazil - No samba.
Portugal - I'm betting Christiano Ronaldo is going to cry again before the WC is over. Other than that they didn't really stand out against Cote d'Ivoire.
Germany - One helluvah game; not to mention the first real treat of this championship. Just outstanding.
England - Sorry chaps, but they aren't going anywhere.
Holland - I'd say they are a real contender this year, but Germany is currently still my favorite.

Spain 0 - 1 Switzerland. Now I've seen everything...
On a side-note; Spain deserved to win.

I don't care what team and, while I'm not gay or anything, I just really want ABE to win so it deflates the big-heads.
