But yeah, Spain is looking good.

To be honest.. they should replace the penalty shootout with a game of headers and volleys. Would be so awesome.

Too bad Messi doesn't perform well for Argentina. Up till now atleast. He's not all that popular there, too. The guy moved to Spain when he was thirteen or something and must have little ties to his country. I mean, the Argentines call him 'the Catalan' (the region in which Barcelona lies is called Catalonia) for a reason.

Because our keeper situation is the worst out of all the countries. Only two of these keepers will be playing in the premier league next season. The "first choice" plays for the team who came stone dead last this season and is known for making many mistakes on the pitch. The second choice plays for the team who finished 17th, and let in the blunder yesterday. The third choice had the best performance team-wise this season finishing 11th and has done well in qualifying and the warm up games, however has no experience of international tournament football.

So its not a case of just picking one willy nilly, these guys have all been working hard to play.

Then you do it 2 weeks before the game to give the guy a bit of convidence not 30 minutes.

You could've smelled this happening from a mile away
