*Feral walks up, spotting one of these posters in an alley. He leans in, reading, scowl deepening by the moment. He snatches it off the wall, wandering off with it, muttering as he goes.*

*Feral reaches his destination, tossing the poster into the fireplace... watching it burn.*

(I thought the scarlets were neutral, considering there is one still in the Cathedral. I don't think the Alliance sees them as bad since, crusading against the scourge and forsaken isn't actually a bad thing.)

(crusaders aren't neutral seeing they're standings with the argents.. after all)

((They haven't been allied to the Alliance since vanilla. Alliance is directly opposed to them in Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm, considering the Scarlets deliberately attack Alliance troops.

The only Scarlet group still supported by the Alliance were the Scarlet Renegades. Those guys were only present during Cataclysm and have been removed in MoP, which implies that they failed to purge the Scarlet Crusade in Cataclysm (or they ultimately rejoined them after Whitemane resurrected once again, seeing as Joseph became as insane as the old Crusade by the end of those quests).

Brother Crowley is an emissary. Which means, even if he still is part of the Scarlet Crusade proper, he likely has diplomatic immunity. Though I'm of the mind that he's just someone Blizzard forgot to remove. That or he became part of the Renegades. Either way, his presence in the Cathedral is outdated as all other lore shows that the Alliance treats the Scarlet Crusade as an enemy.

And no, it wouldn't be legal for them to stay in the city, no more than an orc. The Alliance and the Scarlet Crusade are at war. Their military forces were directly opposing each other in Northrend, and Varian himself sends adventurers to help Scarlet rebels combat the core Scarlet Crusade at the monastery. Scarlet Renegades might be legal in Stormwind (if they still exist at all), but they'd be the only Scarlet group that would... and even then, I'd imagine they'd be treated with suspicion and very closely watched. They certainly wouldn't be allowed to post propaganda encouraging people to attack Alliance death knights.))
